I’ve lived in Kerman for over 20 years and have ordered from this Me-n-Ed’s location many times, but this was the first time I’ve ever had a negative experience like this.
I called to order a heart-shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day and clearly explained I wanted it half pepperoni and half pepperoni, pineapple, and olive. The associate, Melanie, responded with laughter and a tone that felt mocking and dismissive. As a paying customer, it made me feel uncomfortable and not taken seriously.
I asked to speak to a manager because I didn’t appreciate being treated that way. When I spoke with the manager, Tiffany, my concern about the interaction was not acknowledged or apologized for, and the conversation moved on as if nothing had happened. Because neither the associate nor the manager seemed to take the situation seriously, I chose not to place my order.
What makes this especially disappointing is that I previously worked for Me-n-Ed’s myself (at a different location), and customer service was taken very seriously. We were expected to give respectful and exceptional service to every customer.
I’m not someone who complains often, but this experience left a bad impression. Customer service matters, especially for long-time local customers. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
