A unique dining experience not to be missed! I hadn’t had food from Togo before so the novelty was fun. The uniqueness of the flavors is amazing.
The fact that Jordan does everything himself adds to the magic of the experience.

Mé Lon Togo is a beautiful love filled restaurant made possible by Jordan himself! His passion for sharing his food with his guest emulates through the flavors in every dish. We weren’t sure what to order but he suggested two of his favorite African dishes. The menu is $40 for a 4 course meal per person including an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. The server was also phenomenal although I didn’t get her name. Jordan was graceful, enthusiastic and charming. We were only visiting for the night but would return again. If you’re looking for a delicious meal at what feels like a private dinner party at Jordan’s home, I would absolutely suggest you visit!

We found this place when searching for food near our hotel in Camden. Me Lon Togo was on the top of the list and I am so glad we chose this place for dinner. Amazing experience from beginning to end. Our waitress was very friendly and engaging and the owner Jordan came to our table twice to ask about our meal and to talk with us. The menu is an amazing mix of African and European flavors. $40 per person gets you an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert. Please support this gentleman and his restaurant if you are in the area. It will be a great experience for you and you will have a wonderful meal cooked by people with love and caring!!

I decided to take myself out to dinner tonight alone after a very difficult few weeks. I’ve never taken myself out alone, so it was kind of intimidating initially. I was going to get take out, which they were willing to accommodate, but I realized it would be easier for them if I stayed and ate there. The waitress, Faith, was so sweet and amazing, and made me feel comfortable and at ease as it was my first solo dining experience. She was awesome. Instant besties . Jordan the chef/owner came out from the kitchen to greet me and checked on me several times to see how my food was. Everything was amazing. The food, the people, the atmosphere. So excited to have some diversity in Rockland, and to bring my kids and friends in for dinner ASAP. I Actually sent texts to several people as I sat there to tell them how great it was. Thank you, Faith for making it so comfortable for me being there alone, I needed that tonight! Thank you Jordan for the hospitality and amazing food. I will be back soon!

MUST GO! My wife and I are just visiting from NYC so we’re not knowledgeable on all of the best restaurants around mid-coast Maine. We’ve been to Fresh & Co, Nautilus, and a few others. After many nights of having lots of awesome new england seafood we were surprised to find a restaurant serving Togolese cuisine! I don’t think we have that in NYC! We made 8pm reservations and showed up. Their $40 prix fixe menu was a no-brainer. The food was so good and plentiful that we needed takeout boxes! Mé Lon Togo is hands down in our top 5 restaurants in the Northeast US. Our server Matt and Jordan (owner) were very hospitable. I’ll be back.

Me lon togo is a gem among the restaurants in Rockland. It brings a unique flavor to the Maine coastal scene that, to be honest, is rather hard to come by.
I knew this place was going to be excellent when I could smell the spices ten feet away from the restaurant! The curry was excellent, flavorful, and deliciously spiced. The cocktails, especially the tea, struck a great balance between boozy, sweet, and sour. The dessert, a warm tapioca with ice cream, was another one-two combo of contrasting and complementary flavors.
Finally, for a four course meal for 40$, you really can’t go wrong! I would come again!

The food was delicious. It had a lot of flavor and delicious spices. The atmosphere was wonderful with live music and dimly lit rooms. The tables were a bit awkward but all part of the ambiance. Planning another trip to try more of the extensive menu.

The restaurant was very cozy! The owner has a cool story (on his site). Even though it got busy, we felt like everything came out at a good pace (especially because we got pretty full). The meal took around 1.5-2 hours. The food was delicious, and I think getting a 4 course meal for $40 is a great deal. We will come back for sure if we are in the area.

Really nice ambience. Feels like you are having dinner at a friend’s house. The vegetarian dish that my husband and I ordered was delicious, marred slightly by the bed of watery rice it was sitting on. A unique addition to the restaurant scene in a small town.

The food is delicious and authentic. The chef pays a lot of attention to every detail and approaches every customer personally. Extensive wine list as well. Happy to see places like this appearing during these difficult times. Highly recommended.
