The bartender who said she was the manager told me to get off the phone because i was being “loud” while other “customers” who were either another bartender because i saw him pour six rumple shots himself or the barback who also works as bartender continued to yell & be loud & drink on the clock but when i asked about other customers she couldn’t tell them anything. But as soon as she cashed me out she asked the customer next to me how he was now & he replied “better now” and she responded “me too” very petty & sarcastic which me as a paying sutomer felt disrespected & asked her why she would ask other customers to “quiet down” besides them slapping the tables behind me & talking about women’s “feet finder” per the other bartender or “barback” on duty.

This was like buried treasure for St. Patrick’s day weekend. I couldn’t find any specials or information online while we were en route but went anyways. It’s was crowded but not too bad. They have standing areas with a ledge and after about 45 min we got seats at the bar.
We got the Reuben and it was good and the fries were perfect and crunchy.

I have mixed emotions. I usually like to go in for an apple cider and fish n chips when Im in the neighborhood. Im always happy about the service and how friendly the staff is. Today was very different. I was looking foward to a nice lunch as usual and to give a good review but not everyday is the same. Easy enough for the bartender when I walked in I knew exactly what I wanted to drink and eat so ordered everything right away. After the food was served. I noticed that it was just as delicious as always. The difference was in the staff today. I sat at the bar to enjoy my lunch and after the food was served the bartender never came around to ask me how the meal was. I noticed that the tartar sauce was extra spicy and it was very uncomfortable to eat with the level of spice. I thought maybe that they added a new tartar sauce and I was hoping to see if I could get their original tartar sauce but throughout the whole meal no one checked on me. When I was done with my plate and my drink I pushed it to the end of the bar and no one bothered to pick it up. I flagged down the bar back to ask her about the tartar sauce. She immediately argued that it’s the exact same tartar sauce I literally had to defend myself to make a point that I was not exaggerating about the level of spice a short while after call Ma she went back to the kitchen to check and sure enough she agreed it was spicier than normal. She explained that once that gallon was finished that a new batch would be made and it would not be as spicy hopefully. She said they added cayenne pepper and probably added a little too much. By the way the plate and glass still stayed in front of me. The bartender was very friendly with the people to my rights and was very eager to talk with them the whole time. So I waited for his eyes to eventually shift my direction so I could ask for the check. I normally tip more than I did today because I felt like I was an outsider and not welcome. I’m really so disappointed with the way I was treated today that I don’t know if I will come back. When I left the plate and glass were still in front of me no one the entire time asked me how I was doing. Hopefully more training will be implemented for the employees. I get that it is in the middle of the week and the weekends are the most important but you never know who is going to walk into your establishment at any time on any day. I’m really disappointed because I wanted to leave a good review period and their defense this is the first time I have ever had an experience or I did not feel welcome and I really did not feel welcome today

My husband and I are regulars there. It’s the best place to relax after a long day. Bartenders and patrons are so nice and friendly and the food is amazing. Highly recommended!

I have lived down the street from here for a year and I’m so mad I didn’t try it sooner! Everything was so delicious and Lee gave great service. The stew and the Sheppards pie were phenomenal. It was the best stew I have ever had. I will definitely be back here again and again.

The Most Balanced Bar/Pub in Austin Ranch.
McSwiggans undisputably the BEST food in Austin Ranch, the most affordable drinks, and top notch service.
I have been coming here for years and it wasn’t until I moved to Prosper that I realized just how amazing this place is. So much so that I had to make this review (and update the menu photos)
While the other bars in Austin Ranch give off a more Sports and/or Nightclub vibe, McSwiggans nails that “Everyone’s Welcome”/”We do it all.” vibe. Reminiscent of “Cheers”.
It’s a chill spot, with great service (you won’t have to wait long for a refill or service in general), the most kindest staff in the ranch, and amazing food.
100% Try the Buffalo Wings, Quesadilla, and Fish & Chips.

Went to McSwiggin Irish Pub with friends. Overworked bartender, charged for an extra beer (I let it slide), $144 bill, left $10 tip. Good vibes ruined when staff came out & insisted on 10%. A good pub earns tips it doesn’t demand them.
