I regret not trying this place sooner. The bahn mi is fresh, delicious and made to order. The bread is perfect crispy on the outside and soft inside. I got the deluxe for the extra meat and they give you a lot. This place is the best for authentic bahn mi in the area! Will be back soon and often!

There is some type of sauce that is used on the classic banh mi that takes it to a next level.
Loved that there was not an excessive amount of butter as I have experienced elsewhere.
Bread could be a touch fresher or maybe it was just the bum end of the bun.
My wife said that it could be the best banh mi she’s ever had.
Friendly owner taking the orders and an old poa-poa making the sandwiches (love it).
Can’t complain about the price; $5.50 for a regular classic and $6.50 for extra meat.
Ranks high up on my list of best banh mi after only one visit. Will be back for more.

Favourite banh mi shop in Hamilton!! Fantastic prices and options, I love the Ultimate Oink deluxe spicy and the lemongrass chicken / beef is also delish!
Highly recommend grabbing an iced Viet coffee or a jelly in coconut milk for a sweet treat!

Visited twice so far, enjoyed both the service and banh mi. Service was friendly and quick; the banh mi was excellent. I like that there’s a simple menu to pick from, and then you can pick whether you want it as a classic or deluxe. Deluxe is a $1 more and you get extra protein and vegetables (worth it in my opinion). I would recommend the Ultimate Banh Mi and Lemongrass Chicken. Some places’ banh mi bun’s crust can be thick and hurt when you eat them but I find the buns at McQueen’s to be soft with a nice thin crust which was really pleasant to eat.

Best banh mi I’ve had in Hamilton. The meatballs sub is my favorite! This place is take-out only. The owner was very friendly. Service was quick. $5.50 for a classic and $6.50 for a deluxe (slightly bigger baguette with more fillings).

I’m lucky enough to work close by so it’s an easy, quick stop on my lunch break. Each banh mi packs delicious flavour in a perfectly crunchy bun. So many options on their menu and they are very accommodating of any changes you’d like to make. I also like how they have other food options besides banh mi and hear the coffee is amazing. Great value for the price!

Best Banh Mi in Hamilton. If you’re searching for a great sandwich and a good price this place should be added to your list. The Saigon Deluxe comes on fresh bread with fresh ingredients and will fill your appetite for well under 10 dollars. Authentic flavour with spice or no spice. Order ahead if possible as they often can sell out before 2pm (this is a good thing). They bring fresh buns in daily and when they are gone, they’re gone. Enjoy!

It’s a relatively small, takeout restaurant. You may be able to eat standing at a narrow bar against the front window. We are outside in the glorious sun. The banh mi were delicious and filling. The staff friendly and helpful. Recommended
