This will be one of our most rememberable dinners – it’s not our normal style, type of night out, etc. This was the most romantic, authentic, and wholesome dinner we have experienced.

This was an excellent choice for our anniversary. Was very romantic atmosphere, delicious food, and the owner is so nice. Certainly worth the price!

Hands down the best meal I’ve ever had. The most expensive too! Absolutely reserve your spot a month or more in advance. This is a historic home and the staff would be delighted to give you some of the history.

Ate at the McNinch House for my birthday. Was really excited to try this restaurant given the high reviews on Google and my enjoyment of fine dining. However, the food was underwhelming—excluding the lobster bisque—and the wine pairing subpar (the Spanish wine was overpoweringly oaky). The single lamb chop that my wife and I received was cooked medium well although we asked for medium rare and was served at borderline room temperature. I’ve ate at multiple Michelin Star restaurants and paid north Of $500 for a meal before, along with a wine pairing so I don’t mind paying a pretty penny for a meal and experience—but I can say without question this meal was not worth $750 for the 3 of us. You can eat other fine dining establishments in Charlotte for much better quality of food at a significantly cheaper price tag. Had a lot of high hopes about this restaurant but walked away severely disappointed

Old but not in a good way. I had high hopes for our anniversary but very old and food wasn’t great and cocktails are really immature and basic. Really need to redo the menu and have some serious cocktail revisions. If I get an old fashion with crushed ice, a cheap cherry and a orange slice something I could ask an 18 year old to make. Overall was disappointed even with a recommendation from in-laws.

This would typically be out of our price range, but we decided to splurge for an early anniversary celebration.

If you are looking for a fine dining experience and elaborate ambience transporting you back in time.. McNinch House sets the benchmark. We were there to celebrate a birthday and we had the cognac room to ourselves. The meals served in finest silverware and ornate cutlery. Every dish was well presented with wines to pair and service to match. An evening could not have been spent better..

AMAZINGLY quaint dining experience, think Downton Abbey! Lovely staff…& Lordy that chef comes straight from heavens gate! Crab Cakes = delish, Shrimp Tark = delish, Flank Steak = Sent from heaven, Shecrab soup = other worldly! Can’t go wrong with anything you order!
