We had the BEST time at McNaughton Pub and Grill! We were a reservation party of 8 and they were actually excited to see us, which you don’t always get when you walk into a restaurant with a big group. It felt so welcoming right away.
All of us got the prime rib and it was HUGE… and sooo good. I had the red pepper and gouda soup and I’m still thinking about it. And the potatoes?? I’m obsessed.
The cook even came out to greet us! He was funny and ended up serving us ice cream himself. Just such a fun, personal touch that made the whole night even better.
We will 100% be back. P.s. I’ve heard the bartender’s not too bad on the eyes either .

Recently, I went for dinner. I had NY Strip, and it was pretty good. I was pretty full and couldn’t complete my meal. Didn’t care for the screaming kids running around. Sometimes, it’s nice to have a nice quiet time to talk and eat.
Previous review 9 months prior…First time here. The staff was super friendly. All smiles, humor, and great service. I particularly liked that no female waitresses were trying to flirt with my husband. .lol. The food was rather good. They had several seafood specials like halibut and crab legs, but we are more of steak and burgers. Hubby had the chipotle burger, and really liked the sauce, and I had the porterhouse. Could have used a tad more seasoning. The bathrooms were reasonably clean, but there is a musty smell, but after a few minutes, you don’t notice it. We went around 5, and it wasn’t busy, but by the time we left at 7, it was.

We went for Friday night fish fry and to say the food was absolutely delicious is an understatement. My hubby had the halibut and said he hasn’t tasted anything better since he lived in Alaska. We will definitely be back- Great job guys!

FANTASTIC food, hand muddled Old Fashioned in a clean, nostalgic bar/wedding hall from the ’30’s till now! Ask the bartender about the lighted picture behind the bar. It’s clean but not updated, which it shouldn’t be….it’s just like the early 70’s when I would go there as a little kid for weddings. The clam chowder is THE BEST I’ve ever had! I’d put it up against any in the country. All the fish is awesome and unique (Halibut, etc.) and flown in, the steaks are awesome…..well, everything is awesome! You have to try this place!!!

Exceptional food. Excellent service from bartender & waitress. Had the halibut & crab. Both a 10. Many pasta selections to choose from. Very good prices. We will definitely return & explore other menu items. The only thing missing was bread or a roll with the fish. Soup was awesome. Great old fashioned service & teamwork here. An absolute must to include in your dining options.
