I recommend the Higher Bowl! Overall it was a good experience with good food. Between 5 of us, 4 getting a drink and all getting a meal it was around $140.

Our first time here and we LOVE the location in Tacoma, so we wanted to try this location while we were nearby.
We get there and waited about 15mins to be greeted, then decided to walk up and just sit at the bar. One lady was working on a laptop sipping a coffee, another waitress was unloading a dishwasher, and a guy was walking around.
We watch the waitress greet another couple who had walked in behind us.
We figured we could wait 5 minutes but no one made eye contact with us for another 15mins.
Finally we looked at the lady not even 5ft away from us and asked for some menus. She said “Oh of course. Sorry I’m on Admin duty tonight.”
She checked our IDs, then said to leave them out for the next guy who would be our server.
She had to get him and tell him to help us, he finally did, we order food and drinks, and he didn’t even bring the right drinks.
We decided it wasn’t worth it to change it since it would’ve taken longer.
We finally get our food and it was okay, nothing special.
We did ask if he could recommend things to do in Portland and he did try to offer suggestions which was nice.
Overall the service wasn’t great, food was subpar, and they weren’t busy at all.
Probably won’t eat here again.

Great service, a great hideaway in the courtyard.
Ceaser salad with chicken has a wonderful flavor and the greens were fresh.
Delicious French fries, turkey club with cranberry sauce was perfect.

Low-key and okay for families. All the usual McMenamins food and beverages but our servers were what made it super. They were happy and light-hearted in the most genuine way.

Good food, reasonably priced, with friendly and helpful staff. Another great McMenamin’s eatery! Such a cute setting, very cozy and comfortable- not pretentious. You would feel at home in jeans or a nice dress.

Atmosphere full of gnats. As soon as we got our food they came flying down, no warning. when we brought it to their attention they responded “oh yeah we are aware, it’s just that time of year” Would be nice to eat my food without fighting bugs for it.

Love visiting this Mcmenamins location. The servers and bartenders are always friendly, and make great drinks. The food is always well made, and I love coming here, even just for the vibes. Highly recommend their ciders and the cheeseburger sliders.

Raleigh Hills Pub is an excellent pub in the array McMenamin’s has! Love the interior and pyramid ceilings as well as reading the history of the location. Had some super tasty hazy IPAs and fondue covered food as well! The have an outside garden section too with log burning fire and heat lamps (｡•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧
