Ahhh the smell of cigar smoke… Anyhow, I waited for a while before realizing you have to order at the bar.. The Fire and Flannel tasted fine, could have been hotter. The Blarney Stone Corned Beef Sliders were delicious. The 1/2 shot of 2026 Devils Bit Whiskey, not so good. Too much cask taste for me.

I’ve been here several times and always enjoy hanging out on the patio. The wood fires are great for staying warm.
The line at the tiny little bar can get pretty backed up so plan accordingly. Small selection of quality cigars available at the bar.
We visited three times over the weekend and on two separate visits, two of the people in our group had metal chairs break on them. Maybe the changing temps had something to do with it. (Just be aware when you choose your chair- go for the wicker!)

We actually couldn’t eat there. We arrived as they were supposed to opening. We asked an employee if they were open, and they said they should be, but wasn’t sure when the door would open, or why it was taking so long. We waited another 15 minutes and decided to leave. The three star rating is a reduction based on previous experiences. with McMenamins.

What a great place to grab a bite, drink, meet with friends, “work from home”, or just hang, O’Kanes is just what the doctor ordered.
You can do all that and more. I may sound like I work for McMenamins, but I most definitely do not. I’ve been to almost all of them and this is one of my favorites.
I enjoy a good cigar and this is a perfect spot ro enjoy one. Kane’s has a fantastic selection of Scotch and whiskey varieties to tantalize your taste buds.
I just love the whole McMenamins experience. And, like I said before, this is one of the best of the best.

It’s dark inside…just as I like it…and lots of wood all around, and a great spot for an Old Fashioned Bourbon and a stogie. The atmosphere enhanced my imagination as I read a classic. Cool vibe inside.

I had some pretzels and fondue alongside pizza and lemonade. The food was pretty good, as for drinks they’re pretty standard. The atmosphere and service was peak however, great servers and a lot to look around at and take in.
