Prices are a bit high, I ordered a non alcoholic drink and got one with alcohol, that could have been real bad with the wrong person. When making the reservation I stated it was for 3 to 4 people. They made the reservation for 2. The room was fun and we loved the vibe.

We went just for the speakeasy. They have a small limited menu for food they give you, but you’re allowed to order the full menu. They have a special small food and drink menu for where you are. The drinks are fun and unique. They have a meter on the drink menu for how strong they are and it’s accurate. I got the zombie drink and it was enough for just one. The limit is two on it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming with McMenamins usual curated lighting. Will return soon to try the Lost Lounge tiki bar in the back. It looks fun and immersive.

Pretty decent food and a nice view of the water. We ordered the Big Island Nachos ( a big hit!!), the Captain Neon blue cheese burger and the St. Pepper Chicken Sandwich ( half order). All were very tasty and hit the spot. The steak fries were unusually thin but, surprisingly, quite good. The truffle aioli sauce to dip them in was AMAZING but the Ranch Dressing was pretty tame with not much taste. Didn’t have room for dessert but they all looked yummy.

Every time I order food it is incorrect. I have order a salad several times and they have given me the wrong dressing that I cannot have. And when you do order to go it’ll take over a hour to receive your to go order. I don’t recommend this place.

We were there awhile before our server came to take our order, even though they weren’t very busy. We ordered the Cajun tots as an appetizer and then had to ask a random server walking by our table for napkins and drinks. When our server finally came back to take our dinner order, we decided just to get a brownie to share because we had already been there so long and the brownie was the reason I wanted to eat here in the first place. Someone brought it out fairly quickly, but then we sat for a long time waiting for our check.
Service aside, the food was great and hit the spot, and the restaurant has a great layout, not too cramped while still having a lot of seating. Good variety of booths and tables and bar seating, too. I also liked the decorations and casual feel of the place.

Our experience at the Lost lounge was just ok at best. I was very excited to check out the new Lost Lounge with my wife on our date night. We were seated and had to wait a bit for someone to take our order. The server was very nice however after ordering, it took awhile to get our drinks and food, after drinking our first round we decided to order another round of drinks and it took what seemed like a very long time. After just starting to drink our second round we were told our (90 min) time is up and we had to leave. I ask if we could have 5 more minutes to pound down our drinks and we were told no but we could finish them out in the restaurant. The service was very slow and WE were paying the price. I have been going to all the McMenamins for 20 + years and introduced my wife to the experience however lately it seems they are losing that great McMenamins feel with their extremely high prices and slow service and non caring staff that was once never there. This company has definitely changed and not for the good I’m sorry to say! And just a little side note. I USED to Love their fries, but now (Frozen).

Very nice ambiance. Servers are super nice. Happy hour from 3-6pm. The Cajun tots are good as usual. We tried the spicy cauliflower bites but were not too impressed- the breading was too thick.

I had a reservation for The Lost Lounge with my husband and I’s date night before celebrating our 20th anniversary in December and wanted to take him to his first “speakeasy”. We went on a weeknight that wasn’t super busy, but enough to make it active.
Atmosphere is okay. Love the changing lights in the ceiling every 15-20 minutes, the water feature in the center, and the seating. Lights in the booths (with the exceptions of the corners) are SUPER bright and take away from the whole experience. If they were dimmed just a little, or a wall sconce like the corners of the room, it would be MUCH better.
Now for the real issue with my 1 star review. Despite our reservation and sitting down, our server was super kind. Service however needs to be improved, as well as the flavor of drinks being REALLY heavy to the point that they were without flavor. The menu giving the levels of alcohol was great – the one I had was mid-level but it was HEAVY after ordering it. I couldn’t finish it. My husbands “full moon” alcohol level drink was definitely an overpour also.
It took FOREVER to get an order in for drinks and food to arrive. We only have 90 minutes to sit there — and it took almost that long for us to even get our food and drinks. After our food arrived, almost cold, we let them know about the issue of time and they were happy to seat us out in the main bar … but we couldn’t take our drinks with us? “Keeping the theme of the room and secrecy within the room.” The “secret” tiki mugs that drinks were served in are also in the case – so there is no keeping it secret that way.
I didn’t even want to order new food to replace the cold food. Especially at the price everything was listed at. Staff were adamant that we could not take the drinks we were paying for out, and other patrons near us were in the same boat. My husband had to CHUG his drink, along with another patron behind us with his BEER, to finish it to not waste money and then leave the bar.
I would understand if McMenamins were trying to keep to this whole aesthetic of a true speakeasy and make the experience a one of a kind thing (like Trader Sams in Disney Resort hotel in California), and I know they’ve only been open three weeks or so, but the lack of service and strict rules regarding the amount of time you have to sit being a huge disconnect to the point it’s actually not a good experience. With McMenamin’s ability to create some magical places and experiences, this is hardly any of that which is both surprising and disappointing.

They got rid of the Truffle Fries here! That’s the only reason why I love coming. It’s like my world has collapsed! Now they have regular basket fries with mustard dipping sauce. I won’t be coming back here anymore!
