This is a destination diner! Plenty of free parking, well decorated interior and, oh my word, the food! Went for breakfast and definitely impressed! Skiped the breakfast buffet but peeped it & wouldn’t mind doing that in future. Ordered a platter but with substitutions, waitress made recommendations making a tad cheaper! Prices were reasonable too. Sausage gravy was on point, biscuits were moist & fluffy, and those hashbrowns!! It sounds weird to talk about how good hasbrowns were but dang!!! Service was impeccable. Pay upon exiting right at the dessert bar. I was able to resist temptation, but regretted it! The cakes looked delectable!

The atmosphere here is amazing! It’s like a country kitchen and barn had a baby, GENIUS! There’s much unique decor to indulge in while you wait for your food. I loved the booth… they’re sooo comfy and spacious! Like 3-4 people can fit each side. The woodwork is stellar. The vaulted ceilings are adorned with plenty southern/country artwork and tools. Ohhh…I haven’t discussed the food yet…ITS SPECTACULAR!!! Perfection on a plate! Food was a great temperature, seasoned very well, and the presentation was phenomenal!

We had takeout as usual (my 87 yo mother loves the ribeye) always perfectly done with baked potato and salad. We splurged on dessert. The carrot cake didn’t disappoint. Thanks to the staff for friendly, courteous service. Manager Cindy has an awesome crew.

Great food…. Probably the best service I’ve ever had by a single individual who worked our party of 20 (she was so confident in her performance that she removed the default gratuity of 18% from the bill and asked us to tip her based of of how we thought she did!). Drinks were kept full, and the kitchen did our waitress a solid by getting our order prepped very quickly.

My 1st time being & definitely not my last. Really good food amazing service & everyone was nice. We ordered & food was out in less than 10 minutes. Food was perfection. You could cut the chicken with a fork. For 3 people (with an $8 appetizer, $3 tea, $2 extra for loaded potato) was $56.00. Each meal about $12-$15. Steaks start at $23, has seafood too. Each meal comes with more than enough to make you FULL.

Well worth the trip off the highway! Inexpensive, amazing atmosphere, attentive wait staff, and great food. Would absolutely recommend taking the extra few minutes of driving over one of the big chains on the side of the highway!

We just enjoyed lunch at McLean’s for the first time this past week. I wanted to share that not only was the food good, but our service was spectacular. Our server was named Brittany S. She was PHENOMENAL! With her vivacious, super friendly personality, she made us feel extra special with her personalized service, promptness, and great humor. What a treasure, and what a wonderful dining experience she afforded us. On the way out, a customer coming in joked that they hoped we left some food for them. We chatted briefly and they told me us about the incredible pineapple cakes. We will be back for some of that soon! Thanks again.
