My food was hot and tasty. They have a sensational variety to choose from. I had chicken livers cabbage and steamed potatoes and they were delish. Now I’m a mild seasoning person, so the seasoning was just right for me. So for you that love heavy seasoning you might need to add some but my food tasted great. A customer service sets the tone a welcoming and sincere customer service. And even though I had get it to go, the place is very clean and the atmosphere invited you to sit down and dine. And that’s what I will do next time. So in my opinion, I received 5 customer service and a yummy plate of of food. And thank you, the staff with y’all warm smiles, for outstanding hospitable customer service that you gave me and our community.

Grandma turn 99 blessed years she loved it they’re so helpful making sure EVERYTHING was GREAT great people perfect surrounding and all of us really enjoyed it. Wednesday 3-4-2026. Service problems with bad attitudes by an employee local manager and a corporate manager have left the situation unsolved.
Based on 20 plus years of eating there this has become my last day going there.
Please note that at the noon lunch time of this developing there were only my friend and I. Plus two others. Corporate manager was more interested in chasing away a long time customer than observing that by crickey our restaurant is empty.

I love coming here. People say it’s for old people but the food is so good. I like seasoned food and I like the fact that what I touch, belongs to me and no one else has touched my food but the servers. It’s a safe way to eat out.

Yum..yum..YUM, no more drive thru meals…I dine at MCL every now and then– that’s my bad..lol..I definitely need to be a frequent diner…and the meal I posted was $20 and some change…I went to McDonald’s and it was $11 for TWO items…I was also surprised by how good the black eye peas were, wish I had skipped the mash and added double peas..they were that good and yes, heading to the store to buy some

We came here as a family ofter the funeral for my father. Nice place, comfortable and clean. Good was okay, just not super hot, being a buffet style place. Overall? Good place to take the family when everyone is hungry.

We picked MCL Restaurant and Bakery to celebrate our anniversary, hoping for a memorable meal. The food itself was good, but the ordering process was frustrating. The setup was different from what we’re used to, and it wasn’t explained clearly. When I asked questions to understand my options, the staff seemed a bit impatient. At one point, they asked about my choice of bread but skipped over me completely before I could answer. It left us feeling a bit dismissed right from the start. Thankfully, our waitress at the table was friendly, which helped improve the experience. The food was tasty, though the prices felt high for what we received. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the service and ordering process didn’t quite match the special experience we were hoping for.
