Quality food, Weis selection from fried chicken, roast beef, vegetables, green beans, salads and different bakery items cinnamon rolls cakes pies a wide selection of somewhat comfort food maybe a twist of Southern comfort but it has a Midwest feeling too. It is a family environment but it is catered towards more of the senior.
The variety of bakery items were outstanding.
Overall a very good pleasant experience.
Quiet clean positive environment. I enjoyed every time I go. I’ve been eating there over 40 years. MCL as a restaurant in various locations across Columbus.

First time experience in this restaurant. It was highly recommended by a co-worker; sad to say that OH has proven yet again, another not great food. Everything was salty, small portions, cold food considering food was seating in a chafing dish. Buffet server was not ready to answer Qs about the food. Another server has her ear buds on while doing her job.

After about 20 years, my wife and I went to MCL in kingsdale and had lunch and it was very good. Food is still same quality as it was 20 years ago.Candy was the manager on duty and I recognized her when I worked at MCL Whitehall about 40 years ago. Nice little reunion.
We will be back later this year to eat again.
Very good. Very clean.

This is an easy, sweet and affordable way to get together with friends or family. Old school cafeteria. Homemade and delicious like ” mom” used to cook. Great and welcoming staff. You go through the line with a tray. Then pick your table. Love it!

Decent platter of food, but I wasn’t charged for dinner plate plus my extras instead for each individual item, which lessens the appeal. The salmon was good. Fried shrimp had a special and wasn’t anything spectacular. Could leave everything else but the strawberry and walnut salad, that was delicious!

The food was good as always. I was a little disappointed that they still had 90 minutes left open but had numerous options missing from the line. I recommend getting capability for cash back to do tips.

It was a warm and clean place like a family dining room. There are lots of choice of desserts, appetizers and entrees. I ordered a chicken leg, which was tender and juicy but it was quick to cool down:(. The service was excellent and there were a lot of sauces and salt on the table. Anyway it is a good place to slow down with family.

This is a cafeteria style restaurant. This was my first time at the restaurant. There is a lot of writing posted on boards and behind where the food is. I asked for a salad and they had all kind of toppings for salad and ask for some fruit on my salad but you couldn’t get the fruit on your salad. That was a bummer. Then I went down to get the rest of the food. They give you a lot of food way too much food for me. But then I saw where another person who frequents the restaurant got some kind of diet plate that is smaller portions. Also a cheaper portions, but I didn’t know about that because it’s not advertised. If it was with all the writing I didn’t see it. If you visit this restaurant, be sure to read all the signage, boards, and writings they have before you get your food.

The food is very good quality here. I love it because chicken livers are hard to find and they have really good chicken livers on Mondays. It tastes like the food my grandma used to fix after church on Sunday.
