A place to gather with friends and family while chowing down Texas barbecue. It is not always crowded and that is the best part. The tables/chairs are clean and in order. The decor matches the Texas vibe though I wish they would also play Country music. They have an outdoor seating as well. Service is excellent because of Cheri. The young ones are not as friendly as Cheri. She engages in small conversation and she smiles a lot. She remembered that I was there with my family at one time. (This would have been just my 3rd visit here). I witnessed her take two bags of hot order to a customer car because he was in a wheelchair. She insisted to help even though he said he was fine. That is customer service!!!! Now, the only minor thing which is understandable was I pre-ordered meals (1 for 2 meat and the other for 3 meat). They ran out of burnt tip and had tried their best to contact me. I came to pick up my order but I think they forgot to replace the burnt tip for another meat. So, I ended up with just 2 meat for both orders. Oh well. Surely, we will be back when I get the urge of eating meat again.

We had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the price and value were awesome. I was able to feed six people for under $110, which is hard to beat these days. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and everyone in our group left happy and full.
The only thing I wish they offered was a few more vegetable options like broccoli or asparagus as side dishes. That would make the meal even better.
Overall, a fantastic spot with great value — we’ll definitely be back!

Extremely affordable.
Didn’t see a pit anywhere – but it was dark.
What looked delicious was the burgers .
We got a four meat plate.
Everything was ok.
I had to go get my own food from the window, as it was just sitting up there.
What was disturbing in why the low score is the cleanliness:
1. Food trays were greasy.
2. One of the ladies working the counter would sweep and clean the main floor and never wash her hands when she went back to work the counter- and deliver food to customers.
3. Another lady working the counter was on a break, eating her dinner. For some reason, she came back to the counter to work and never washed her hands before waiting on customers.
I used to eat here all the time six years ago . Things seem to have changed.

Had the chopped brisket sandwich with onion rings and fried jalapeños. Brisket was tender with good flavor. Onion rings and fried jalapeños were very good. Sweet tea was spot on. Potatoe salad was tasty with chunks of potatoes. Their BBQ sauce was not to my liking, but that’s just personal preference. The girl that took our order wasn’t the friendliest. The restaurant was clean. Food came out quickly.

Bar bq is very good but not the excellence that you get at some other bbq places. Recommend the chips with the spice on them and the chicken was best out of the meats we got. Will eat there again because the value is very good.

Amy really made our experience here great! She was so friendly and made sure all our needs were met. We got the kids chicken nuggets which were fresh fried and a plate and a brisket sandwich. All the food was yummy and came out in a timely manner. Very happy with our experience today. Thanks amy!

This place is good, pretty good portions, just OK BBQ sauces. The service is great, but the atmosphere is a little dull. I don’t think the lighting is adequate for the restaurant, is all I mean by this as the decor is fine, somewhat entertaining in fact. The food is not on the stellar spectrum, but I highly recommend the onion rings and the double cheeseburger that is a mess, greasy monster, but the flavor is out of this world and with the size of the double cheeseburger, 1/2 lb., it’s worth the hefty $20 for it, trust me. The regular ribs are 4/5 or 8/10. The pulled pork 10/10. Have not had the chicken, but the jalapeño sausage got me hooked, 4/5 – 8/10. BBQ sauce is 3/5 or 6/10.

Best Service in town! Loved the patio! Extremely clean dining room and the ladies bathroom was also. I just had the appetizer sampler and included plenty of photos of this hidden gem tucked away! Good surprise in Montgomery. Wife and I stopped in to get some pulled pork sandwiches and some fries. You would not believe how difficult it is to get fries with BBQ, just not a normal pairing I guess… But something my wife has to have. The pulled pork had a good smokey flavor, I got the jalapeno bun which was great as well. Their BBQ sauce was really tasty as well, the spicy version was just that… Spicy, but not overly hot. I threw some jalapenos on top, and it was perfect. Also got the fried jalapenos which were really good. The people working there were extra friendly which was nice as well. We will be back for sure.
