Social Profile:

McGuire’s Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. In 1982 McGuire’s moved to its current location; Pensacola’s original 1927 Old Firehouse. Inside the pub you’ll find a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon themed 615-seat restaurant. We are celebrated for our atmosphere boasting more than One Million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub. In 1996, a second location, McGuire’s Irish Pub of Destin opened on beautiful Destin Harbor with the same great food and live Irish entertainment.

Irish pub grub delivered with ales brewed in copper kettles, plus live music most nights.

Kudos to our waitress, Tiffany! Great energy! She was perfectly prepared to offer helpful menu recommendations and point out what was what on our combo appetizer platter. Her attention to detail was impressive; she even brought the exact number of to-go boxes and the correct lids for our condiment cups without being asked.
We ordered the combo appetizer platter, Reuben chowder bread bowl, chicken almond salad, and a pastrami sandwich. The serving sizes were generous for the price. Plenty of leftovers for tomorrow.
The combo had at least 7 different appetizers in it. The chicken almond salad had a satisfying crunch. The pastrami sandwich was piled high with meat & the rye bread was incredibly soft & fresh. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, capturing that busy, classic Irish pub feel. We’ll be back.

The service was really good – Our 1st time there and the food was exceptional. Multiple members of our family got the Rueben and wow it was like a 4lb sandwich an everyone loved it – Steakburgers were great flavor and tons of options. We got their 18cent yes 18cent you heard me right bean soup! Got to read the reason why. Seems a lot of the military crew come there to eat as well and enjoy it too.

I dont even know where to start except to say EAT HERE!!! This was such a great meal. I had the bacon wrapped filet and my hubby had the Steak & Mushroom Pie. Both were absolutely delicious. Also do not forget to get the 18 cent bean soup!! The atmosphere was lively, fun, and simply a great establishment with tons of $1 bills to look at . Check out the gift shop on your way out also. I can’t say enough about our meals-top notch! A DEFINITE MUST STOP!!!

Went here for the $10.99 shepherds pie Monday lunch special. It was full sized and tasted wonderful.
Once there, I found out they had a Snow Birds special where the bread pudding dessert was free.
Every day they also have Navy bean soup for only 18 cents.
The root beer float with in house root beer was amazing.
The waiter was wonderful as well.
You can also write your name on a dollar bill and hang it with over a million other ones.
A very cool site to see.
Love this place.

1) Our server was Paul B and he was an awesome host. We came on Christmas Eve and he left us smiling with his awesome attitude. Great Job and Thank You!
2) Our food was cooked perfectly and the foos was enough for seconds lunch the next day. Yum!
3) Small 10 minute wait but it was worth it. Couldn’t get the Destin location to place our names online, but the weather was so nice even in December we didnt mind waiting outside.
4) Steaks were amazing, highly recommend. My teenage kid loves mac and cheese and burgers. They had a burger with both… he was super happy.

TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

The food was incredible and the service was exceptional. The steaks are amazing. The restaurant environment is wonderful and resembles an Irish pub. Samantha Jo was an incredible server and went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs were met. You will not regret eating at McGuire’s.

McGuire’s in Destin is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience from the moment you walk in. The food is delicious, hearty, and perfectly Irish, but what really makes this location stand out is the incredible décor. The walls are adorned with millions of dollar bills, giving the pub a quirky, fun, and totally unique atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else. Every corner has something to catch your eye, making it a feast for the senses as much as for your appetite.

Another highlight is the gift shop. From Irish-themed souvenirs to branded merchandise, it’s the perfect place to pick up a memorable keepsake after your meal. Whether you’re visiting for the food, the décor, or just the lively ambiance, McGuire’s Destin delivers on all fronts. A must-visit for anyone in the area!

So much fun!!! The food was fantastic and served in huge portions. Our server Darian definitely made the experience better! We ordered happy hour drinks, $3 and super strong, Reuben sandwich, Steak and mushroom pie, fish and chips and crock of French onion soup. I cannot recommend this place enough!

For 4 years I’ve had locals tell me to try McGuires. This year I finally did and now I know what all the fuss was about! We were lucky enough to bypass the waiting list and find seats at the bar. Right away we were greeted with a ray of sunshine, Jazzy! She took such good care of us & was very patient while I went over the menu countless times. I had the hardest time picking because everything sounded like it would be a winner & being that I only come to Destin once a year I wanted it to be perfect. And was it ever!! From our first drink (which came with a free t-shirt) Jazzy was on top of her game! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. There was live music and the atmosphere is one you’ll have to see to believe!! Jazzy boxed up our to-go’s and made sure we had everything we needed to make it to the Uber with ease. I will absolutely be back!

Revisit
Since my last visit was great, I came back again — two days in a row. However, this time was disappointing. I ordered two entrées that were both supposed to come with bread, but we only received one. When I asked the server, they said that even for up to four people, they only give one bread. That made no sense to me. I also tried all the side dishes — the asparagus was bland and lacked flavor, and the creamed spinach was served cold.

Really great atmosphere and excellent service. There was a short waitlist, about 20–30 minutes. The pork chop was absolutely delicious, and the corned beef and cabbage were great as well. The food took a little while to come out, and according to the menu, both dishes should’ve come with bread, but our table only received one. Still, overall, I’d definitely come back again and again! Parking can be little challenging.
