Easily one of the best restaurants in Pensacola. So many good things on the menu. Food is always on point. Had the rack of lamb last time I was there. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I liked the sautéed tomato with feta. My brother got the reuben, which had generous amount of corned beef. So yummy. Lotta love in that food and restaurants. Our server, Cat, was friendly and didn’t rush us. At the end othe meal she recommended a dessert to go. Glad we took her up on the suggestion. Had the perfect piece of cheesecake later that night.

Omgggg!!! Hands down my absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Pensacola. I’ve been going here for years before I even moved down here. It’s always a vibe. It’s always good. It’s always good service. And the food is always good, too. No matter what you pick, from the spinach dip, to the giant pretzel, to the reuben eggrols, to the burgers, the pork chops, look, all of it is good!!!

We went today, 1/31, and it was amazing service as always. Kim took amazing care of us. She made excellent suggestions, she was kind, funny, and just an amazing server. She was quick, efficient, and just the best server we’ve had at McGuires to date. And we’ve been going there for years.

Oh and the Irish Wake, it’s sooooo good!!! Watch out for it, it definitely sneaks up on you.

10/10 definitely recommend this place!!!

Also, sometimes there is a wait for this place, but trust me it’s worth the wait!!

It was my birthday and everything was great. Being 4 days before Christmas I would expect a long want, there wasn’t, maybe 20 minute wait. Food came out perfectly timed from drinks, to French onion soup to salads to the main corse. There was an abundance amount of food, had left overs for the next day.
I ordered prime rib cooked rare, hit the mark. Loved the idea of putting your own toppings on my baked potato.
Ordered a slice of cheesecake to go, best I’ve ever had and was huge. Will be returning to McGuire’s again. Sooner than later.
The prices were more than I would normally pay, but it was worth it.

We decided to dine early for Valentine’s Day. We ordered the Belfast Ribs and Jameson Pork chops. Absolutely delicious! Our waitress Geri was EXCEPTIONAL! We couldn’t have asked for a better waitress. She was attentive and made our visit perfect. We also ordered my favorite cheesecake with cherries on top to go. Mcguires is always a great time. Thank you Geri, i hope we see you next time.

McGuire’s Irish Pub was one of the very first restaurant we were recommended after relocating from Hawaii. From the outside it doesn’t look very large.

As we entered it seemed as though we entered a labyrinth. The interior was a bit darkly lit. It was a weekday but the place was packed to the maximum with customers.

We were seated and quickly perused through the extensive menu. The food came out quickly and hot. The loaded potato skins was amazing. The burger was juicy and delicious.

The service was impeccable to say the least. We spent some time at the gift shop to purchase some merchandise before we headed back home.

Aloha and mahalo for the Southern hospitality. We’ll be back soon to try the other delicacies.

There is a rare category of establishment that manages to be both a local landmark and a genuine culinary destination. This evening, during my first professional visit to Pensacola, I had the pleasure of experiencing McGuire’s Irish Pub. The atmosphere here is truly singular; it strikes a remarkable balance between the refined excellence of a traditional steakhouse and the storied, communal warmth of an authentic Irish pub. It is a unique establishment that masterfully blends the upscale with the blue-collar, creating a space that can literally appeal to anyone for any occasion. Walking through the doors, you are immediately struck by the history literally papering the walls—a visual testament to decades of patrons and memories. I started the evening with a litre of their Irish Red brewed in-house, which was fantastic. The bread provided was dark with a sweet glaze that was simply delicious; in fact, the small loaves were so generously sized and dessert-like that I found myself eating two more slices even after I had finished my meal.

For my starters, I ordered both the Caesar salad and the famous Senate Bean Soup. At only 18 cents for the soup, I figured there was no harm in trying both, and I was certainly glad I did. The soup was excellent—so flavorful I didn’t even bother putting crackers in it—while the salad was perfectly fine and exactly as expected. However, the pacing of the service was a bit brisk; they began bringing out the baked potato toppings while I was still finishing my starters, and the presentation of the toppings wasn’t particularly fancy. Mid-way through my salad, my steak and potato were served. The Prime NY Strip (medium) came out on a cast iron plate, sizzling and spattering hot oil on the table and my hand while I tried to finish my greens. This delivery method kept cooking the outside of the meat, resulting in an uneven cook where one side became very well-done. While I generally prefer a steak to rest before being served rather than sitting on an extremely hot skillet, the steak remained juicy, possessed a nice crust, and was extremely flavorful despite the temperature being a bit all over the place.

I finished with the potato, which, along with the salad, was included as a side in the cost of the steak. Overall, I felt the price was fair for the quality and experience, even if it wasn’t exactly inexpensive. From the moment I walked in to being seated, the staff was extremely professional and attentive, especially my waitress, Cat, who was wonderful. While I don’t think I would likely assume it to be Pensacola’s finest steakhouse in a strictly culinary sense, I absolutely would recommend that anyone visiting the area must visit this establishment, whether it is for the steaks or otherwise. It has been a memorable introduction to Pensacola, proving that even on a busy work trip, there is always room for tradition, great beer, and a solid steak.

This place is an absolute gem. The food is outstanding—hearty, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Everything we tried was fresh, comforting, and clearly made with care.

What truly sets McGuire’s apart, though, is the atmosphere. The interior is legendary—covered wall to ceiling with millions of dollar bills, creating a fun, quirky, and uniquely Irish-American vibe you won’t find anywhere else. The décor alone makes it worth the visit, but combined with the great food and lively energy, it becomes a must-see destination.

The pub feels warm, lively, and full of character, perfect for a relaxed meal or a fun night out. McGuire’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Pensacola or looking for a memorable dining spot!

A Must-Visit Gem in Pensacola!

Every time my family and I come to Pensacola, McGuire’s is a non-negotiable stop and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere wraps you in Irish charm and good cheer. This visit, we were serenaded by someone singing all the classics with that unmistakable Irish flair, adding a joyful soundtrack to our evening.

The food? Absolutely exceptional. We ordered a ribeye, New York strip, fillet, and I had the white fish, each dish cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, the portions generous, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout.

And of course, no trip to McGuire’s is complete without leaving our mark, stapling a signed dollar bill to a special spot on the wall, a tradition that never gets old.

If you’re anywhere near Pensacola, do yourself a favor and stop by McGuire’s. It’s more than a meal. It’s an experience filled with laughter, music, and memories. Highly recommend for a great time with family or friends!

Went for my son’s 13th birthday today. We got seated quickly and the service was phenomenal. Our hostess was very attentive and got us everything we asked for. As far as the food 10082722652389/10 I was not expecting a pretzel the size of a stearing wheel! But man was it good. You definitely get your money’s worth on portion size. My son got the burger and fell in love with the first bite haha. He said this is his new favorite place! Not only amazing food and staff but the other customers were so nice. As soon as we sat the person next to us greeted and chatted for a bit. After they sang HBD to my son a very nice man gave him some cash for his birthday. That made his day! We will definitely be back!
