Seeing alot of negative reviews lately, honestly I don’t get it but maybe it’s just me. We had an awesome time last night. This spot is laid back, very diverse crowd, band played some great music, and happy hour pitchers were $6 which was crazy. Bartenders were all extremely friendly, good vibes. I arrived early ~ while sitting in my car waiting for my girlfriend to arrive, in between two cars I noticed someone was audibly and loudly throwing up. Teenage girls (whom couldn’t have been eighteen) were laughing at the person throwing up.
Their parking area is just sketchy – As white girls, Anna and I walked towards the entrance, we had three black guys trying to hit on us which was extremely uncomfortable. Someone from that group yelled “you all got a show tonight”
There was a cover charge ~ No live music ~ No DJ ~ A cover charge for entry is ridiculous. The bartender stated the cover charge is for door security. The security cost is the responsibility of the bar owner, not the customers which is a significant, unexpected expense to the customer. Epitome of CHEAP!
Their Cheese Pizza has super watery sauce and a dough that has a chlorine-like flavor and is way too soft. Think ketchup on matzah with alpine lace low fat, lactose free cheese and you are just starting to recognize the atrocity.
Anna ordered the chicken sandwich which the chicken center was under cooked with mediocre fries that were seasoned with old bay seasoning that she did not request.
The cook that works there is absolutely abysmal at his job!
This place has been horribly mismanaged for years, but it’s never been quite so bad as it is now.
There is so much potential for this place. Needs new management.

This was a college hangout from my younger years. We stopped in recently. Bartender was awesome. They were out of almost all the draft beer, which was a major disappointment. Food was good and staff was nice.

Absolutely terrible service!! If I could give zero stars I would! I came down from jersey city for a small drink with my friend. I was sitting, waiting to be served and watching the bartender talk to her friend for OVER 10 minutes, ridiculous! Back turned and extremely inattentive. She clearly does not want to be working here and her energy shows. There are 12 people in the entire bar.. With the volume of the bar there is no need for an over 10 min wait to be served! The waitress is ONLY worried about talking to her friend instead of serving the customers. Mind you, I work in the service industry.. Tending to customers is the waitress’s job!! Won’t be back!

McGuinn is not a safe place for a single woman to come to. E is potentially the worst bartender in all of Mercer County as she endangered my safety.
E called the cops on me. Unwarranted. After I told her she did a good job after she ruined my long island. I came here years ago for a company party and thought this was a safe space. It clearly isnt if they are employing people like this with no customer service experience or emotional intelligence. This video is after I went to the bathroom and she had thrown out my drink while I was in there.
My response to your response: There was nothing out of character that I did to warrant you calling the police on me E. Even this nasty reply back is an indicator of your petty actions that night. You will get it back, God don’t like ugly or people who seek to hurt someone. I won’t even have to lift a finger. God help you, truly.

Came here to see some awesome local bands play (Guessimate & Edgeways) and really had a great time ! The parking was good and accessible, service was nice to us, bathrooms were easy to find, smoking lounge outside was nice and kept, and the stage/PA/lights had a nice live venue atmosphere. Really enjoyed our Mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, Cali Fries, Quesadillas and Angry Orchard on tap – everything was reasonable and fairly priced ! Really enjoyed this place and hope that Guessimate and Edgeways come back cuz I’m ready for round 2 !

I come here 4/3 times a week. All the bartenders are great and friendly but E is best and my favorite bartender, the customers and atmosphere is great (I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS!!)

I came here to play pool since it’s the nearest place with pool tables and I’m used to sports bars having a better pool scene. Tbh I won’t be coming back. It was $2 to play on a table (already testing it) with misaligned stickers on the long center diamonds but that doesn’t even really matter since the table itself isn’t in good shape. Tried placing the cue ball in one place and it wouldn’t sit, but rolled to sit in a divot half an inch to the side. Many balls had chips in them. On a plus side there’s a large chalk wheel for your hands. Can’t comment on food but a single tequila cranberry (w the cheapest tequila) was near $9. Please if you’re gonna charge $2 per rack take care of the tables and balls. I wanted to practice a little but I feel like doing so in this establishment is useless at best.
