Local joint on the water. Food is average, Chicken sandwich was simple but good. Sloppy joe was exactly that. Fries were way under cooked and soggy. You order at a window and take your number to wait for someone to yell it out, to then go get your own food. Inside the building seemed to have no air conditioning at all and was not very clean. Outside was almost as hot and no fans and most tables have no umbrellas either. It’s super bare bones and only serve beer. Will try another restaurant next time for sure! Good view of the river though.

Great food!!! We rented a houeboat for this busy weekend…we had the best time we ever had,the workers are very helpful even help light a stove to just cook 2 ears of corn! If we needed anything they helped us. Went to eat at beer and Bratzs on busy day we had great food and services was great people just leave the negative not positive….we are leaving a great one… People just got to remember they r people not robot! Food we had was good we love the chicken and the fish. I’m sorry for the people that feel they didn’t get want the paid for but I’ve ate there many times always got good food the service is friendly …if the service is friendly it means they take the time to get our order right and not a robot! But move on to the next… Very calm and relaxing. Just to say also the deck guys our very nice and friendly very helpful. I WISH I COULD SAY More BUT I DON’T what else I could say people WE HAD GREAT TIME! Will eat there and rent a houseboat again! Loved our time at both places!

Terrible service and I can’t even say terrible because it was basically nonexistent. We had a table of 8. We sat ourself and were given 4 menus. Drink orders were taken with food. Drinks came one at a time and some were missed. Bloody Mary was terrible. 3 appetizers were ordered and one came, the other two came with food but some food was missing. No one ever checked back. Had to go find someone to refill drinks which they also messed up, was told we couldn’t get what we ordered because no refills on root beer even after I went in to ask for refills and nothingWas said at the time. Staff sat inside eating the whole time. Worst service we have ever experienced in our life. Awful.

I was expecting a great sit down place from previous reviews, but the food was like cafeteria style. The burgers were over frozen and rated awful . I feel as if I wasted money here. $30 for two small burgers and small servings of fries.

Nice view of the river! The food is pretty “plain Jane” and we were not really happy with our meals, though it tasted fine for what the choices are. Friendly greeting and service. Fair on cleanliness.

Pretty expensive for subpar food. $10.00 for Brat combo which included a 12 oz pop and fries. Thats it! Fries were thick and tasteless and no slaw or anything included. Good thing was I wasn’t tempted to eat all my fries! My husband like his Cheddar brat but my cherry cayenne brat tasted like cough syrup. Giving 2 stars for the deck view!

I find their prices quite expensive but if you are looking for just a very good quality homemade tasting burger that you will certainly need to stop here and get one. Probably won’t have another one like it. Their other menu items are quite tasty too.

We love going to McGregor, Lansing area. There is lots of wonderful places to stop for friendly faces, good food and cold drinks. This is not one. This was my 3rd bad experience. I am not sure if the staff just doesn’t care or what the deal is. I have been in service, that is where your tips come from. Get the orders right. Do not sit on your phone while customers glasses are empty, they Will go elsewhere. Lots of other options. You have a prime spot on the river, service is key!
