This was our first time here. We celebrated valentine’s day. The atmosphere was great with reflection and design of an old Irish pub. The waitress was pleasant and professional. The food was great for me but not so much for my wife.The woodland pasta had to much garlic. The dessert was great too.

Food was really good! We had the Fish and Chips, Shepherds Pie, and Corned Beef and Cabbage. We went on Sunday and they had $3 Mimosas. We had to try the desserts so we shared the Lemon Pavlova, Bread Pudding, and Malted Cheesecake. All were delicious! The atmosphere is relaxed, dress code is relaxed. Can’t wait to come back!! It’s a 2 hour drive, but totally worth it!

What a great find McGee’s Scot-Irish Pub has been! After living in South Carolina for five years and moving from Miami, we finally discovered a place that truly hits the mark.
From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere; it’s cozy and very clean, which is always a good sign. ✨ The service was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the start.
As for the food, it was simply delicious. I ordered a steak that was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. And I can’t forget to mention the dessert: the coffee brûlée is, without a doubt, the star of the show. A spectacular finish to an incredible meal!
I will definitely recommend McGee’s to all my friends, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! ❤️

My husband and I went to McGee’s for the fourth time a couple weekends ago, we have had several different things off the menu, and have enjoyed everything we have gotten, McGee’s is our go to date night spot. Last time we went my husband tried the pizza and I had a burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and so was my husband’s pizza, our only complaint is that after being seated we sat for 15 minutes or more before a waiter came over to see us, which he only did after being prompted to do so by another customer who saw us sitting there. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t busy. The waiter also did not ask if we wanted any desserts, if we had not been to McGee’s several times before, we probably would have left. We do always enjoy the food so we will keep going back, hopefully the service is better next time.

Went here on a lunch trip with coworkers. Had the tavern burger with fries and slaw. It was really good. My coworkers enjoyed their food also. The only thing I didn’t like is their soft drink selection(not much to choose from). Other than that, food is great, service and atmosphere is awesome. Definitely recommend.

The host was welcoming and friendly. We sat at the bar and received quick and attentive service. My wife and I shared the GOAT burger, which worked out well because it was a large portion, but was very good. We normally forgo coleslaw as a side but I am really glad we tried it. It was pretty unique and well spiced. My wife enjoyed the Guinness on tap which is expected at an Irish pub but we can’t always find at local restaurants/bars and was part of our motivation for visiting. We look forward to returning soon to try some of their specialty plates. They had Trivia night going when we visiting and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

We are fairly regular at McGees. The food is good and the prices are reasonable for both food and drinks. Shout out to our servers Angelina and Peyton who always deliver. We love the soups made in house. Entertainment at least on Friday that we know of.

Unexpected Wonderful experience
What I liked:
The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was above average. I got the fish and chips, and my wife got the salmon. Strangely the pizza my daughter ordered was fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy. Great beer selection.

First time eating here and regret I didn’t find it sooner. The atmosphere was great it being an old brick building. The waitress Emma was very informative and nice. The food was very flavorful. We will definitely be going back to try something else off the menu since there were multiple things that caught our interests. The music being played was laid back and low enough that easy conversations could be had.

Came in on a Sunday around 4:45 pm. First thing to note is they don’t currently have a liquor license so liquor is off the table but they are serving wine and beer.
The first port wine I asked for they were out of but after that everything went amazingly.
Ian was our waiter, incredibly attentive and anything he didn’t have an answer for he was clear and honest about and went to get a second opinion.
My girlfriend ordered an espresso crème Brûlée which was to die for with fresh fruit and chocolate covered espresso beans as a garnish. I asked for whatever port wine the bartender recommended and she brought over a honey forward light orange red Australian port. GORGEOUS. Very sweet very deep very delicious.
Ordered the pimento cheese fondue and the Irish stew. The fondue was tasty (but of course it was its melted pimento cheese) and the crostini it came with while tasty did have a slight edge towards stale.
The stew? My god. The mash was fine but the actual stew itself of just herb lamb shank was one of the single tastiest things I’ve had this year. Warm, seasoned, and perfectly delightful without coming off as pretentious.
Had one last Portugal port wine which was darker in color but lush and exactly what I’m looking for in a port wine. Came in with low expectations as the drink crisis came into play but everything was stunning and delicious!
Once last shoutout to our waiter Ian who gave us exceptional service.
