First time eating at McEwen Steakhouse . I gave them a 5 star Although nothing fancy they Welcomed us as if they were a Five star restaurant. They were very attentive to our needs never letting our drinks run dry. Steaks were A-1 cooked how I ordered . baked potatoes hot and fresh . Side salad plentiful. Coffee good and hot . Could not ask for better food or service . Reasonably priced .! Restrooms clean

Super Nice People but my last visit here I was disappointed, way overpriced for quality of food don’t get me wrong they make a good burger and some of the food is good but not overall worth the price. The macaroni and cheese was mushy, old and terrible. The fried green tomatoes were way overcooked, burnt in some areas and hard to cut. I don’t mind paying a good price for good quality consistent food but that’s not what I’ve gotten overall with my trips here so far lately. I’m not saying don’t give it a shot, I’ll leave that up to everyone but I’ve been several times and I wont be back myself unless I see more consistent positive reviews that they are doing better myself.

I have been searching a long time for a place with a GOOD steak in this area. McEwen is now my “go to place” ! I had a juicy ribeye, cooked to perfection, w/homemade delicious potato salad & fresh, fried green tomatoes! I am telling you, go there! My friends’ meals were just as delicious, too! It is worth the drive. The folks there are super friendly & take great care of you. And the prices are totally reasonable. I left there “full as a tick” and cannot wait to go back. Maybe next time I will try to leave room for dessert…?

Great food and AMAZING prices. Their specials are cheaper than burger king! We haven’t gone the steak route but have had oysters, shrimp, soup, BBQ chicken, roast
beef, and others and everything was very good. Service was attentive without being bothersome. This is family restaurant with quality food and prices that will keep you coming back!

I went for the first time tonight. The food was really great, my husband and I both had the rib eye steak, I had the baked potato- so good!! My husband got the fries with his steak, I tried those and they were really good too! The steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted so good that we didn’t need any kind of steak sauce. Great service, highly recommend!!

All right. The people are incredibly kind here.
I was a little bit disappointed by the food. The green beans were too salty. The mashed potatoes were under seasoned and bland. The fried steak I got was decent. The other individuals in my party were satisfied. I was left wishing I had cooked at home.
I may have to go here again to see if that’s typical. If I do, I will update my review.
