I was going to comment the place wasn’t very clean, but right after dropping off my food they started addressing the situation. The food itself was pretty good and everything I special ordered was correct. Hot fries were definitely a bonus these days, so well done for that. They also appropriately filled the fry containers like they used to, so it was a pretty good experience.

I likely eat at McDonalds way more than I should. As such, I’ve been to many, if not most, of the locations in Anchorage. This location is by far my favorite. They make the effort to put the food together in a way that shows not just competence but a work ethic that is hard to find. The staff has always been unfailingly polite even when I show up during busy times.
Specifically I was having a very rough day in the middle of October and just needed something to eat. It was my first time in quite sometime ordering at this location on Old Seward near Dimond mall, and I expect much the same as other locations. Lopsided sandwich, cold limp fries and my drink lid to be barely on.
It might sound absurd to say, but these things not being true really made my day. It was such a small thing but really affected me. I had to go in and tell one of the employees thank you. They seemed surprised that they should be thanked, but also happy that they were acknowledged.
So to the people working at this location, thank you again. It’s a small thing, but preparing people’s food without complaint and in good spirits I can’t imagine is always easy.

I don’t go in for takeout but if I do then it’s through the drive through not take out. That’s what annoys me most when I go in to eat. It seems like everyone at the register assumes that I order takeout. What is the point for me if I go in. It’s to dine in not takeout… annoying when have to tell them for a tray.

Fries were fresh and it wasnt too busy. Our food wasnt just slapped together like at so many locations so thay was nice. The people working the voice and handling the food didnt talk super audibly but other than that it was good.

I come here often and usually get curbside because I have such big orders. I love this location. They always get my orders correct and the customer service is always top tier. When the soda machines were out for 2 weeks- I had to go elsewhere. Didn’t have a pleasant trip with 2 other locations. Will always recommend this location!

I have no idea why this McDonald’s is rated 3 stars, in my humble opinion it’s the best one from anc to wasilla! They don’t smash your food so that’s it easier for them to pack, you get actually decent and edible looking food! I’ve been going to this specific McDonald’s for a little over a year now and they’ve only gotten better. Some of these reviews really make you question how miserable people must be to leave such bad reviews simply because their order was wrong. I feel 1-3 stars because they gave you the wrong order is a bit harsh considering how they will go above and beyond in terms of making your food, plus most of them are just teenagers, like cmon now lol. Anyway I just wanted to leave a review for anyone who’s wondering if this McDonalds sucks or not, or if you’re about to leave a bad review. Because if you’re about to leave a bad review, you should most definitely take a step back and start questioning if your complaint is serious enough to leave a 1-3 star review about a fast food joint.
