It was a cold, rainy February afternoon. President’s day. 2 days after yet another empty Valentine’s day and a week after a victorious Superbowl for the area, but since I only sport when my friends are sporting I did not watch the game, which brings us back to the holiday that perhaps best encasuplates empty gestures – President’s day. A holiday that knows no set date nor truly recognizes a particular president, just loosely averages 2 of the supposed honest presidents. Let me tell you something about Abe Lincoln. I…probably would have liked him, while finding oddly personal things to be simultaneously relateable yet disappointing as to his charcter AND the man could paint a rather realistic door. Towards the end of his life anyway. Really. If you were only mildly distracted or the lighting were just right, you’d reach for the doorknob only to be finding yourself scuffing his paint on a wall. His paint. Made his own. Didn’t care for linseed oil though, preferred Walnut. You might think he painted them as a sort of joke. You’d be wrong. He was quite serious about the whole thing. The final one was quite something to behold. And it was the worst thing he has ever done that has impacted me directly. I had a chicken sandwich which I purchased with my rewards points. An empty lunch, paid for with an empty wallet on an empty day thinking of what now lies behind that door for me and most of us…nothing.

Great breakfast place. They open 24/7 so making it convenient. I always stop by on my way to crabbing in Westport.

Fantastic customer service. The only thing is they missed my order, I paid for 2 egg and sausage McGriddles, but got only the sausage (no egg). I found out too late while driving on the freeway.

My wifes burger ended up having the paper that the cheese came with. Come on I dont expect excellence at McDonald’s, but come on. Remove the paper from the cheese before putting it on the burger

Just a quaint little McDo right off the beaten path. 1st time there and had no issue other than the fairly common problem of a locked bathroom. Not their fault. Staff is courteous and seemed like they vibe with each other. Store inside and out was clean. Will come back.

I’m really disappointed. We were doing a custody swap and one of the kids said they needed to pee and one of them hadn’t ate yet so I decided to pop into McDonald’s for a quick bathroom stop and some food. It took 10 minutes and getting very heated as I watched an 8yr old squirm to not pee herself because they kept saying “oh yeah, we’ll unlock it.” Just to have the bathroom never opened until I stopped and employee and told them to open the door or she was gonna pee right there in the middle of the place. Flash forward 30 minutes and they’re going really slow but the person who was behind me just got four happy meals and I ordered one. Nothing for myself, nothing for the other kid, one, singular happy meal. Half an hour of waiting. I’ve been wondering if they forgot about us, but hey, I’ve got two smalls who are very loudly stating “this is the WORST McDonald’s ever!” As I try to soothe them into not being too terribly disruptive. So I figured they’d eventually get to it. Another couple of orders go out and I walk up to the counter and ask “hey, my order is number 123, I’ve been waiting for about 45 minutes and am just wondering where my kid’s food is?” The girl looks over at a happy meal sitting open to the side of the counter, and that’s my kid’s food. They didn’t put the apple slices in it so her food sat and got cold while they fully forgot about the last item that needed to go into it. I get it over to the table and it’s missing the extra patty I had them add to make sure she actually got full since she’s the size of a 12yr old and growing. I went back to be like “hey, you guys messed up her burger” and they hand me a box with a patty. I’m just done. Now when we say we’re going to McDonald’s the kids remind us that this one sucks and we can’t go here anymore because they don’t want to wait an hour to eat or pee. I’ve never seen such a horrible McDonalds in my life. -5 stars as the kiddo would say.

The manager’s gotta chill out on the whole sending people through the drive-thru line to wait at a parking spot to artificially lower the time per customer. It’s very obvious that’s what they’re doing when there’s nobody behind and 3 cars go through to wait for no reason. Making the workers do more back and forth walking than a basketball drill.

I stopped at this McDonald’s location to order fries and a drink. The fries were very hot and delicious. They forgot to give me a straw with my order, so I had to remind the representative after receiving my drink. Other than forgetting the straw with my drink, this was a good experience.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly, but the whole place smelled strongly of burnt oil. We were immediately sceptical of purchasing food due to the smell, but because we were traveling to Portland for a funeral and needed to get back on the road, we went ahead and placed an order to go.

Unfortunately, the food was not good. The cheeseburgers genuinely looked old and were not even warm. (Even our 5 year old asked why his burger was cold.) The chicken nuggets were a mushy texture (which I have honestly never experienced before) and somehow they had baked a raisin into my chocolate chip cookie.

…I would have gone back to provide them with the opportunity to replace the food, but we were already back on the road. (The employees seemed nice enough – so I’m sure they would have been kind enough to replace the food.)

My family was left frustrated and hungry as the food was quickly thrown away. We will not be returning to this location. If it smells like burnt oil when you walk in, just turn right around. It’s not worth wasting your time or money.

Heads Up: Customers are only able to turn one direction onto the main road when leaving – which can be a mild annoyance if you are trying to get back on the freeway.
