The desert heat in Auburn makes you appreciate simple comforts. Walking into McDonald’s and receiving a fresh burger and hot fries felt like stepping into a small moment of relief. The smell of fresh fries filled the air, and the first bite reminded me why this place has remained popular for decades.

I bought this from Auburn location, but I think it’s from yesterday to give it to me because it’s a smell really bad bad delicious and it was not hot as well so I came from work and I bought it to eat, but when I open it, I just take a bite and throw out. I just drink the Coke and that’s it so never never buy anything from this location. Don’t waste your money.

Every time I eat here, which I try to remind myself not to, but it’s the closest thing to me right now, they mess up my order, my order has missing items, or the food is made all messed up instead of being put together appropriately. Service is not bad but neither good, employees need to attend to customers better, give better service and stop being lazy. Otherwise you wouldnt have bad reviews, been going here for 2 years, hasn’t changed a bit.

They always try to save sugar. It doesnt matter how much I ask. they pour a bit or nothing at all. The facility is designed more for drive thru and you have to call them all the time to pay or make your orden. Altough they serve the orders fast.

Breakfast was nicely packed and they were nice enough to give me two coffee cups so I wouldn’t burn myself. Food was hot and yummy and nothing was missing. This was a delivery order through the app.

Stopped in for a quick bite. “Quick” is a word not in the vocabulary of this location.
Waited almost 5 minutes to even be acknowledged at the counter.
Ordered #1 and #9 (no pickles on either order). 20 minutes later I went up to check on our order. Was told they didn’t know as there was a problem with ‘the system’ in the back.
Food came out about 3 minutes later, when I said over 20 minutes was ridiculous, the employee said “hey, it’s not my fault. I’m in the back.”
And guess what? Pickles on every sandwich. Wasn’t going to wait another 20 minutes to have them remade.
Several pick up orders were served and the drive thru was moving pretty quick.
I won’t be back to this location.
As I wrote this review I watched others come in and experience the same issues.

Update Dec 2025: My fries were old and gross. The music is a little too stuffy, serious and heavy. The front door needs WD-40 bad, sounds like an elf is being tortured…
This is the best McDonald’s in Auburn. The food is always hot and fresh and the service is fast and friendly! I wish they would stock more fruit and creme pies because they always seem to be out. McDonald’s corporate needs to just add those to menu permanently and stop this seasonal junk! Lol! I’m just not a fan of apple pie…plz forgive me. The interior is earthy and thoughtful. My boyfriend and I came here to charge our devices during a recent power outage, absolute lifesaver!! But these little round stools are definitely meant for kids. They will hurt your adult butt, fair warning. This is our date night spot when we are broke. Lol

I just ordered a mocha and was asked to pull around the front. (For one single mocha??!) Then was forgotten about and had to go inside over 5 minutes later and a “large” mocha (just a medium mocha poured into a large cup) was placed on the counter without any words. It tasted terrible! Definitely wasn’t a mocha. Very disappointed in the staff and taste.

The food it McDonald’s so nothing fancy. Most of the staff here are super friendly, polite, respectful and very helpful. This McDonald’s actually has the nicest and best staff in the Auburn and Kent area!!!
