Bathroom locked uo like Fort Knoxx, but still seems like a homeless person is living in there under the sink..
There are some gripes with this location, but are mostly easily remedied. The first is that when going through the drive thru, they have a tendency to botch the order. I’ve had orders for a breakfast platter and hash browns go without the hash browns and meal orders without the fries in the past. You can simply check your order before driving off or (my recommendation) eat inside to avoid the fuss altogether. It is also rather difficult to pull in or out of the drive thru area of the restaurant on account of its location which provides even more incentive to park in a stall and eat in. The final issue is the volume of homeless people who frequent the area. This is a problem that plagues most McDonald’s locations, but this one in particular seems to be a more attractive hub for one reason or another (possibly the more affordable price point).
All in all, there aren’t too many things I can think to do to improve the experience at this location. It’s a great place to stop in on a lunch break or grab a quick, chilled cup of water on your way to where you need to be. If you want some quick, affordable food in Wailuku, there isn’t much reason not to come here.
