This particular restaurant “parks” 90% of the cars in the drive thru, even when there’s nobody at all behind. They often will do this when there’s 3 or 4 other cars “parked” & no place to go. I’ve come through with a utility trailer hooked up before with no place to “park” & got looked at like a deer in headlights when explaining that’s really not an option. I also had a guy flip out, flipping me off & calling me an idiot due to parking in their designated waiting area & the tail of my truck making the drive thru too tight. That practice needs to stop as it’s simply to keep corporate McDonald’s off their back about extended drive thru wait times. It’s a way of cheating the system so to speak.

This is the WORST McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They will make you park and wait for your order EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU EAT HERE. And… they don’t cook their food all the way, especially their breakfast. Hash browns are always partly raw, and muffins are never toasted. You’re lucky if they are even warm.

Since we only have 2 fast food places in Fortuna…..I will recommend McD’s first….they are consistent and faster than the other. I like the fries better at McD’s. If you are willing to wait the other place is pretty good.

This place is very unprofessional. Every single drive thru order I’ve ordered there within the last few months had me pull forward even if it was only a soda. The last time I went I ordered a kids chicken nuggets and sweet and sour and when I got to the food window after I paid they told me to pull forward but there were so many other people in front of me they had pull forward, that I couldn’t go anywhere so I backed up back to the window (there was nobody behind me)where they talked to me like I was a child in front of my children in English and Spanish …was only but a second later they handed me the nuggets but all the cars were still in front of me waiting for their order I still couldn’t go anywhere. So I checked my order and seen that they forgot the sauce I ordered and politely asked for it and again they yelled at me for still being at their window and told me if I wanted my sauce id have to wait my turn after I pull forward and park…I can’t believe people still stop at this place…

I used to come here at least once a week, now I rarely go. They get something wrong every single time. Whether it’s a missing item or salty fries, they never seem to care to do better. The food is always hot, which is a good thing along with the occasional employee who gives good customer service. Also, taking back food from customers and reselling them is, in my opinion, unhygienic. You just never know what an individual did with the food, and it should be tossed. I would like to add that I usually use the drive-thru, and they usually ask me to park. I’ve only been in the dining area once, and it was nice and clean, yet they also took a while and almost seemed like they forgot about my order since other’s food was ready before mine even though I got there first and had only ordered some happy meals.
