Reviews
It is likely not their fault since McDonalds is saving money, trying to eke out profits, and did not have enough workers to even answer questions.
Waited and waited and waited and they came out to plop food on the counter and said “wait a minute” to me and did not come back out for another 5 – 10 minutes that I waited.
Not coming back to this place again because not only were they rude, but they were incapable of handling a to-go order from the counter.
As the Burger King, I pride myself on serving up flame-grilled deliciousness fit for royalty. So, you can imagine my surprise when I decided to venture into the land of the Golden Arches—a fabled realm I’d heard much about, but honestly, what a letdown!
First off, let’s talk about the atmosphere. Entering McDonald’s felt like stepping into a circus—balloons everywhere, colorful characters, and an overwhelming scent of fried food that made me question if I was in a restaurant or a deep fryer. I half expected Ronald to pop out of a birthday cake and sing me a jingle!
Now, onto the food. I ordered a Big Mac, expecting a majestic beefy masterpiece. But when that burger arrived, it looked more like a sad sandwich in a bad wig! It was squished and lopsided. I thought I was getting a burger, not a burger impersonator! It had more lettuce than meat, and let’s be honest, we all know lettuce is just a crunchy impersonator of real flavor.
And the fries! Oh, the fries! They called them “world-famous,” but honestly, they were more like “world-famous for being soggy.” I could’ve sworn I heard them whisper, “Help us, we’ve lost our crisp!” Someone get these fries a rescue mission, stat!
Don’t even get me started on the service. I felt like I was in a slow-motion race. I could’ve cooked and grilled my own Whopper by the time I got my order. You’d think at the “fast food” kingdom, their knights would be quicker on their feet!
Lastly, let’s address the mascot situation. Sorry, Ronald, but as much as I appreciate a good giggle, I felt like I was in a low-budget clown movie! I’m all for laughter, but I prefer my food without side servings of confusion.
In conclusion, McDonald’s, thanks for the experience, but I think I’ll stick with my burger kingdom. At least when I serve a Whopper, it actually knows how to look like one! Keep the arches, I’ll take my crown any day!
