I was helped by a person who was on her 5th day of a new job! This is an excellent example of the training and support McDonald’s management shows their new hires! The manager was available for support but didn’t make her feel bad for a simple error! She was helpful, positive and sincere! I really enjoyed my dinner!

I ordered their Spicy Chicken McNuggets and Chicken Buttermilk burger – they were surprisingly tasty! McDonald’s has the same taste as you’d expect from your childhood, at lower prices than you’d get at other restaurants in the area. My only complaint would be the limited space for bike parking – only 3 spots, and the rack is pretty close to the curb so you can’t secure your bike very well unless you put it lengthwise along the whole rack.

Ok I order to in and they call me to the counter once to pick it up.
I order in and then give me an empty cup with my order so now I gotta walk away from my food and go to the soda machine.
I order in and they give me a complete order but forget the napkins

Okay. McDonald’s it’s been great on costumer service. They would give your order wrong and happens a lot at the drive thru mostly. This time i went in to have lunch there (forgot the location number but is the one on El Camino Real about 500ft East of Oregon/Page Mill Road in Palo Alto) and i was very impressed when the cashier said “please go have a seat and will bring the food to your table, here’s your number”. I know, I know… other places do that, but the fact a huge corporation such as McDonald’s is trying to improve their “guest” experience, is a plus. They could be piloting this type of service at this restaurant as I have not seen it in any other McDonald’s restaurant. Also the “Welcome Home” moto on the number you are given means a lot even though is a fast food restaurant. I have to given props for this and that is why I’m rating this location with 5 stars. Oh wait almost forgot while having lunch there a child behind me spilled his soda al over their table and on the floor, two minutes later a gentleman team member came in to clean it up!! Awesome!! Before, they would wait for you to leave to do cleaning.

I work doing delivery, I go to this store daily. Today a customer made a report because his food arrived half an hour later than expected. Who takes responsibility for this? The problem is mine, not yours. If you are unable to serve your customers, close the store.

Mixed bag in customer service. Many workers are decent in diner order which I’m grateful for and thank you for that. There’s a time where you’ll get a newbie that takes forever to get your coffee order, and when they screw up in causing the delay, the lack of accountability or ownership in the situation is mind mind-boggling — work ethics is lacking there.

Great people working here, very decent cleanliness and high efficiency of this restaurant.
When using the drive through, I’ve never had issues with mixing up orders, incorrect order fulfilled, or any significant delays.
During the pandemic, all staff always wears masks, and seems very effective at keeping the food and customers safe. Thank you, staff, and I hope you are being rewarded for the risks you are taking! I’ll continue to visit this location, and I hope it stays open for long.
2024 edit:
This place has gone downhill since 2020-2022. Prices doubled or tripled, even as supply chain issues are not prevalent any more.
But most annoying is that now it takes literal 20-30 minutes to pick up an order as simple as just medium fries!
I am talking, literally standing in the lobby, or sitting in your car, for 20-30 minutes, in a crowd of similarly annoyed customers, for an order that takes less than a minute to fulfill. This happens both around 6-7pm, and well after 9pm.
I don’t recommend this place if you want your food in any reasonable amount of time.

The very nice black older lady was very friendly when picking up my order! And in general, it seemed to me that all the staff were very attentive to visitors and respectful, which is often lacking in McDonalds. This one has nice service.
