Came through the drive thru for breakfast & had enough points to get my husband a free sausage McGriddle. We ordered and I gave the employee the code however he said it wasn’t working. I said okay I can show you at the window.
I showed him at the window and I heard him say it’s the same price anyways. I thought that was odd however my husband proceeded to hand him the cash. After I looked at the receipt and it was a different employee who handed us the food and He appeared to be the manager, as he was wearing a blue button shirt.
I informed him that we got charged for the sandwich I should have gotten for free. He asked the employee who took the code if he inputed the code, he informed yes.
The manager tried inputting the code and I even showed him twice the code and the details of the sausage McGriddle that was supposed to be for free. He said sorry it’s not working I said okay, can you input it manually?
He said let me try again and he said sorry it’s not taking.
He then said something about how it is probably just to accumulate points and that’s it. That is false info as I clearly go to McDonald’s and the program they offer is pretty self explanatory, you earn points & redeem for free items or discounted items.
The manager needs a training on customer service and perhaps the whole team there needs it as well. I expected more coming from a manager.
They lost a customer and hope this can help another customer in the future of my experience , however I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone.
Oh and I checked my app and they clearly took all of the points, after they said it wasn’t registering. I had over 3,000 points and now not anymore. Very disappointed customer!

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would just because of the rude and poor service. Well I can’t really even say poor service, due to the lack of service. The food was thrown together and the mcflurry was like less than half full and when we said something to the manager she responded “what? What i just made that. There’s no way its wrong”

This place was a disaster. Not only are the counter people not willing to take your order on the counter (especially when they are just standing around the registers) they rudely tell you to use the kiosk. After you order the food a gentleman was yelling out orders tossing the food on a counter (maybe 1X1 foot space) and turning his back on the food. I mean if I wasn’t an honest person I would just walk right up to the counter not order any food and just walk off with any bag I wanted. Not only is the counter he was putting the food on was very limited space, all bags were just left open and not sealed. The lobby where people where waiting for their food was chaotic and nobody at the resteraunt seemed to care about their job one bit. I left there with the feeling of “Worse McDonald’s visit/Worse McDonald’s ever.
I think Higher ups need to come down and hang out under cover for just 5 minutes to see the chaos.

The food was good except for the fries were a little old but not cold. My wife’s chicken tenders were good and very fresh but one of them had a bit too much tendon and fat to be palatable. We loved the new chicken dipping sauce they came out with. It had an Asian flare to it. In the past this has been a good place for me to make a meal stop with my charter bus. The crew here has always been quick and efficient. I would definitely stop here again.
