Food isn’t the problem, the workers are. Made an order through the app to pick up, went inside to the counter and stood there for almost 10 minutes looking at my order sitting there on the shelf as my fries turn stale and my burger goes cold. I look around the corner and see this plus size young lady looking at her phone and standing idle near the drive thru out of view of the service counter paying no attention in my direction. By the time she came over I was too frustrated to say anything other than my order number so I could grab my food and just leave. Fire that worker she’s dragging the service quality down, at this point I’d rather drive the extra distance to a different mcdonalds in hopes of better service.

This morning I went inside because the drive through line was long towards the street. When I went inside the lines were long to use the kiosk and there was another line to place your order at the front . There were customers ahead of me to have their order placed. No one acknowledged us. So I asked some of the customers did they place their orders they told me no one had acknowledged them . I asked one of the employees if they could help us to take our orders . I did not realize the employee was the actually manager she told me that we need to use the kiosk. Then I seen an employee that came from helping the drive through then they took our Order. The customer service is not the same. The employees and the managers are very rude to the customers. I have been to this particular location several times for dinner and breakfast and they give us bad food . Either they double dipping the fries when you ask for no salt. If you order a big order and you ask if you could put each meal in a separate bag . They won’t do it they will have an attitude and they would put the extra bags where the food is for you to do it. I see that they discriminate towards certain cultures. When a person enters an establishment you want to feel welcomed as well as getting the best service. Every McDonald’s I have walked in has been the same customer service which is bad attitudes, no respect, and the food is prepared any kind of way. The quantity and quality is no good. They never give you what you pay for. I used to have a favorite location. Not anymore. Let’s do better McDonald’s.

Hate the fact that I have to wave my hands in the air, damn near just to get anyone’s attention. They want to ignore all their customers that are paying cash otherwise not at the kiosk. They forget straws too a lot.. there are no free refills inside despite the raises in prices. Like come on do better

After a long trip coming from Yosemite and road closures, we wanted a quick bite to eat.
We went through the drive thru since it was midnight already. The girl who took our order was incredibly RUDE. We also forgot to add a fry and asked if we could add it and JEFF said NO “because we are too busy” this type of customer service is absolutely ridiculous!
If you don’t like your job, don’t work here!

Service is consistently poor. They always “run out” of sauce after you ask for more because they forgot to put it in the bag; and that has happened more than a few times to not be a coincidence. We asked to have our fries remade because they were mushy inside, stale, and obviously old. One tasted like pickles?
They asked for the fries back and I should’ve known they were going to refry them instead of giving us a fresh batch. Don’t come here.

My recent visit to McDonald’s was marred by several issues, starting with an unexpectedly long wait time of 20 minutes for my order to be ready. When it finally arrived, I discovered further disappointments with the portion sizes. Despite ordering one large and one medium, the sizes were not as described—the large was noticeably underfilled, and the medium was smaller than anticipated. When I raised this concern with the staff, I received conflicting explanations about what constituted each size. This inconsistency not only impacted my dining experience but also raised questions about quality control at this particular location. Waiting 20 minutes for an incorrect order was frustrating, to say the least, and left me dissatisfied with the overall service and value provided.

You would think all McDonalds are the same – but this one was not. Finding the entrance was a challenge, the person on the speaker in the drive thru was hard to understand and couldn’t answer my basic questions — and asked me to wait twice. I was in the left side of the double drive thru and 2 other cars pulled up and ordered while I waited to place my order.
When we got to the window the pay the person there (different from the one that took my order) was not friendly, did not say thank you and just overall didn’t look like he wanted to be there — though I guess in his place I may have felt the same way.
I love to get an iced tea for my long commute – but after this visit I chose to go without the next day even though I drove right by this location on my way out of town.

Take very long for the food and when you wanna get something like a sauce, they act like they ignore you just so that they don’t have to help you. It feels like you’re bothering them to even come spend your money here to wait 30 minutes for your food.

Disappointed with McDonald’s
I recently visited a McDonald’s location and left feeling incredibly frustrated and disappointed. As a business consultant specializing in quick-service restaurants, I have always respected McDonald’s for its customer-centric approach and efficiency. However, my latest experience left much to be desired.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately directed to use the self-service kiosks to place my order. This “going digital” strategy might seem forward-thinking on paper, but in practice, it falls short. The kiosk interface was anything but user-friendly, and after several minutes of fumbling through the options, I still wasn’t able to customize my meal the way I wanted. The touch screens were unresponsive and frustrating to navigate.
What’s more concerning is the apparent lack of oversight and atmosphere management. During my visit, I noticed a homeless man sleeping in the corner of the dining area. While I understand that every business has to navigate complex social issues, it was disconcerting to see such a situation in what is supposed to be a welcoming and clean environment for all customers. This is a place of business, and maintaining a safe and inviting atmosphere should be a priority.
McDonald’s has built its reputation on quick service and customer satisfaction, but the reliance on these impersonal kiosks and the lack of proper restaurant management are undermining those very principles. If this is the future of McDonald’s, it’s clear that significant improvements are needed.
As someone who advises businesses on how to excel, I can only urge McDonald’s to reconsider their approach. Digital tools should enhance the customer experience, not detract from it. Please, do better.
