This McDonald’s in South El Monte truly stands out. The design is modern, clean, and welcoming — it feels updated and thoughtfully put together.
What I appreciate most is the staff. Whether they’re young, older, or somewhere in between, they all work together in such a smooth rhythm. You can literally see the teamwork happening. It’s efficient, organized, and honestly beautiful to watch.
They don’t mind taking orders at the front counter, which I really respect. And they accept EBT while treating everyone with the exact same level of professionalism and kindness as if you were paying with cash. That kind of dignity and consistency matters.
Five stars for the atmosphere, teamwork, and respectful service. I genuinely enjoy coming to this location.

So this McDonald’s completely forgot to welcome people. If u have an issue using the ordering monitors or they get stuck. You r completely screwed. I tried using them , after the system got stuck I went to the front. The lady who was working the front and back completely ignored my father and me who stood there for minutes as she came and went punching numbers or codes at the register never once making eye contact. After a few minutes I made contact with a younger male you told me she will be back . Well she did but again never made contact and before she listened she walked away. After a min or two the younger guy came back and said did u pay already. I told him I had already told u I couldn’t and then said he would do my order. Please train your people in customer service. Even in the busiest McDonald’s in AZ they greet you. By the way. Another young guy who brought the food out to us was pleasant

Although I went to drive thru I can’t really say anything on the atmosphere. But the lady who took my order and the one at the drive thru were nice. Can’t beat that 2 for 6 on the sausage egg cheese muffin.
Sometimes they are fast and sometimes they are slow on services It’s a hit or miss like any other fast food place. If you want it fast try going when not busy. But otherwise they are quicker then most McD’s.

It took 22 minutes for one bigmac combo. And no apologies were given.
They focus more on the cars in the drive thru than they do for the customers inside the restaurant.
Plus all the tables were super dirty and there was no one that we could ask to wipe/clean the tables.
I cant believe that McDonalds quality has fallin soo bad.
Never coming back here again!

We asked for a large they only charged us for a small then we asked to get a medium on the side then they took our small and only gave us a medium, and then they’re complaining inside while we’re listening to them argue very unprofessional wouldn’t never come here again that lady that was in drive-through. She really needs to get a talking to do better!!!! you’re an employee not the owner. Learn to respect customers.

Terrible service, though I suppose its on par with most mc Donald’s. They roll their eyes if you order at the register. Then skip calling out your number, forcing you to wait and wait, then when you finally ask, just for them to give you attitude and tell you that they called your number earlier. Funny I heard them call all sorts of other numbers, but never mine. Followed up by a sarcastic “have a good day”. Not sure why im surprised….

I always come to this McDonald’s , I love using the app, drink my coffee there comfortably, of course it’s really busy at times and you wait a lil longer some days , but it’s a Mc Donalds come on, the workers are really polite , great customer service, especially the young guy that’s in the register in the mornings, he is always so polite, and patient, it’s also clean through out all the area to the restroom

These guys mess up my order almost every time I come. Today, they forgot the patty on my cheeseburger.. and I asked for Buffalo , but I got ranch.. bruh. I’m about to go pick up my daughter from school. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Last time I went in for a missing burger and I was standing there for almost 10 mins next to a tweeker before someone helped me. Smh

You know that annoying feeling of craving a certain food item in the middle of the night after going out and you order it excited and ready to eat. But getting home to only have half of your order missing and getting large old fries that were definitely left under the heat rack because it was like eating chips not fries. So annoying.
