Our family does not dine out often. We chose McDonald’s truthfully as a special treat just for the kids. This specific location is known in the areas for its inconsistent service, but it’s the closest location for us. This location is hit and miss. More miss than anything. Tonight-another miss.
After placing our order, we received the burgers about 25 minutes later, while the fries arrived separately after the kids were nearly finished eating. Ideally, meals should arrive together so families can enjoy their food at the same time.
When my spouse and I tried to get the attention of the staff to ask about the order, several employees turned away before we could speak with them. When I was finally able to get someone’s attention, the person walked away before I had finished explaining the issue.
There were also some concerns with the dining area amenities. The kids’ restroom had no soap, and there were no napkins available in the dining area. We initially waited at the cashier line for assistance with our order but were not acknowledged. During our visit, which lasted from about 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., I also checked to see if the restroom soap would be refilled, but it remained empty the entire time. When we arrived, only two other families were seated and already eating, so the restaurant did not appear unusually busy.
Most concerning was the response from staff when we raised these issues. Rather than an effort to help resolve the situation, the interaction felt argumentative. Overall, the timing of orders, food presentation, availability of basic amenities, and customer service are all very inconsistent not just on this occasion, but many.

They would have never given these to me if I was eating at the “restaurant”, but when you go curbside you always have some issue.

This mcdonalds has been steadily declining and today broke the camels back.
My family tries to give this mcdonalds chance after chance only to be disappointed.
Today when I ordered, not only was I rushed to finish my order forcing me to update it at the window, but had to listen to someone on the drive through speaker literally argue with the customer behind me!!
To top it all off, the sprite that I ordered had no syrup and was literally a carbonated water. Plus the McCrispy is supposed to be Crispy, not dry and almost burned to a crisp. Please check your syrups and cooking oil.
I understand that things can get busy and we’re all human, but it seems pretty systematic at this point.

Since we are all humans, mistakes can happen. I appreciate that Brian demonstrates if a mistake is made, he will make it right.

This place is the worst place my order 5 min before my lunch started and I got my food literally 7min before my lunch ended

Needed breakfast before going to BLD Chino Hills and was happy to find this location. They were fast and the food was fine. The building itself is pretty boring and plain…but I wasn’t there to see something attractive.

Stopped by McDonald’s for a quick breakfast, and everything hit the spot. My order was ready fast, the hash browns were crispy, and the coffee was hot and fresh. The staff was polite and efficient, even during the morning rush. Clean dining area, too. Perfect start to a busy day.

If you order from here, please check that your food is cooked before eating! We will never return to this McDonald’s after receiving two chicken sandwiches that were RAW in the middle including a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Absolutely gross. We reported this incident to the county health department.
