(We love McDonalds! But not from here. Okay so we live on the same street. Literally a 7 min walk to this location so we have been here quite a few times. Given this place many chances but its always a disappointment.

HERE ARE THE PROBLEMS. We all need to choose wisely what we spend our money on now a day so i’m going to save you not only TIME but Money by telling you to go to another McDonalds if you’re really wanting it.

1. Drive thru: Whenever you see the cars are as far back as where you place your order DO NOT do it. The wait time is horrendous here. I have waited over 5 minutes And not moved at all and the cars at the speaker are waiting for someone to take their order. This happens often. Then you get stuck and cant back up with cars behind you. I was once stuck with 2 cars behind me but the 2 cars behind me left because of the wait so i was able to back up and leave.

2. FOOD: The food is ALWAYS stale. Cold. Hard. The chicken nuggets taste like they make them and they sit there for a long time. Never have got fresh ones in the 2 years we have gone. The fries are horrible! Old. It seems like they make a lot of the items and have them sitting until someone orders them.

Honestly, they should be giving better quality of food. Especially because people are struggling. And its sad to buy food only for it to not be good. No one has money to waste. Not sure if its because they’re short staffed so they let the food sit but its really bad. I get that it happens once in a while but consistently? I mean the nuggets LOOK hard without having to bite into them (see the pic).

We have decided that we will not be returning to this location anymore and we prefer to drive a few minutes out to another one in Whittier to get fresh nuggets, fries and burgers!

Side Note: The fries (all sizes) and nuggets come in bags. I hate this lol i love nuggets in a box where you can use as a little plate and put ur dipping sauce on the top.

Please don’t waste your money at this location and go elsewhere. I didn’t want to write this review but i feel like I had to.

STAFF: The staff is generally nice. We have not had an issue with any of them.

P.S. I went to a McDonalds down Whittier bl and OMG the nuggets were tender and fresh!!! The fries were perfect! The burger buns were soft. This will be our go to now.

I truly hope they due better and hope their star ratings go up one day.

This McDonald’s location has some serious issues.

Almost every Uber order arrives with missing items — especially the French fries, which are missing nearly every time.

This time, the Big Mac I received was in terrible condition. As you can see in the photo, it wasn’t assembled properly at all, and it arrived completely collapsed. I’ve never received a Big Mac that looked this bad.

It feels like there’s no basic quality control happening here.

Lots to unpack with what I have to say. First I was a product of growing up with happy meals, constant TV ads and even worked at McDonald’s for a while. So much has changed. Wifey and walking home decided to get some pies on the way. Place is super modern super clean with a very professional staff. Immediately it hit me. This is not the same. Drive through is busy , but the dinning area is not. The kids play area empty. I remember getting McD’s after church on Sundays. Automated kiosk can let you order and pay without saying a word to a human. Pies are healthier and definitely good but not something my grand kids will know unless we establish some emotional connection like after good report card or an AYSO win. Hate to say it but my beloved memory may have lost its soul a bit.

i tried giving this mcdonald’s the benefit of the doubt and came back after the worst experience but it seems like every time i come, its ALWAYS a bad experience. the drive thru wait takes FOREVER! im talking 20-30 min wait for you to just get cold food and wrong order. NEVER FAILS. inside is always dirty! trash is full to the brim. the soda machine counter is sticky and spilled soda everywhere. dirty tables. you go to the counter to ask for something, automatically they say order on the kiosk before i can even ask what i wanted to ask. workers ALWAYS seem irritated like you’re bothering them. please owner/management, please do better. also teach those employees people skills. lots of one star reviews should tell you SOMETHING

The heavy set manager that works the noon shift at this McDonald’s that barely speaks English accuses people of “no pay, no pay” before finding out what’s going on. This happened when the incompetent team of misfits got the order all messed up and charged me for the wrong order. I am not gonna support this business and just requested a refund from this disgusting person. She still could not comprehend the difference between $4.28 and my actual refund that should of been $4.38. She absolutely has no way or understanding of how to run a business let alone provide adequate customer service.

Food is always old and cold. Picked up curbside and waited a long time, once the food came out it had no warmth at all in it. Completely cold. This is an every visit occurrence.

Ordered through grub hub and they decided to send less than half of what I ordered. Why is this location so bad.

This guy with a cut mustache young white male , was so rude to me at the pickup In drive thru so mean!! But today I came and Rudy was awesome he saw I cleaned my cup and handed me napkins quickly so my car doesn’t get dirty without me asking , he was helpful and super nice ! Awesome service I will be back again bcs his positive attitude ! I hope he’s a manger bcs when I called the guy said he’s one of the managers ! And acted poorly he can learn some things from Rudy

Review Title: Threatened and Disrespected by the 11 AM Manager – Completely Unacceptable
Date of Incident: October 30, 2025

I stop by this location every morning for coffee and have always been treated and greeted with kindness and professionalism — until today.

Around 11 AM, I simply asked if they could apply my rewards discount since my phone had died and I couldn’t access it. From the very beginning, the female manager on duty was completely dismissive and rude. She immediately told me she wasn’t going to “get involved” — instead of trying to help or offer any kind of solution.

What started as a simple, polite request turned into one of the most unprofessional and bizarre encounters I’ve ever had. Her attitude was beyond disrespectful, and when I calmly tried to explain the situation, she became aggressive and hostile. She literally told me I needed to leave and that she was no longer going to engage in conversation — then said her boyfriend was on his way.

This is, without question, the most ridiculous and unprofessional conversation I’ve ever had with a young adult in my life. To make things even worse, as I was sitting in the drive-up, she stuck her head out the window and told the car behind me that I was “trying to get free food,” which is absolutely absurd and completely untrue.

No customer should ever be treated this way — especially over something as small as a rewards discount. I felt genuinely threatened, embarrassed, and shocked by her behavior. This type of conduct from a manager is unacceptable and dangerous.

After this experience, I will never return to this or any McDonald’s location again. In fact, I plan to share this horrible experience with others in the local community through our neighborhood app so people know exactly how customers are being treated here. Corporate or ownership needs to address this immediately before someone else is put in the same position.

Terrible. The new design should be shut down and only drive-thru open. New name should be McDrivethru. I went inside for the first time in a long time to get a fish sandwich combo and beef patties for our dogs but you can’t key in hamburger patties only in the kiosk. Went up to counter and then waited and waited and waited. Interior very quiet and low level lighting gave it a depressing, going out of business look and feel just like the other McDonalds that I have gone to in the past year. Sell this stock if not too late.

This McDonalds is the worst in the area in my experience. I make it a point to go 2 miles further and avoid this particular location. In the morning, they have some of the slowest drive thru service (especially if you are just looking for a coffee). The Large Iced Coffee isn’t consistent with other locations. The flavoring is always a crap shoot, too strong, too sweet, never know what you are going to get. I never have this issue at other locations. They also put Large Iced Coffee’s in what I believe is their soda cups, not the usual Iced Coffee cups you get from other locations. Every time I go there for convenience of being closer, I regret it. Today, I was charged for a large and received a medium. Had cold food, didn’t receive any game pieces and waited 13 minutes with only 3 cars ahead. I will continue to avoid this location and not make the mistake of going there again.
