Built in 1953, this is the oldest McDonald’s. It has kept the original building and arches and they have a little museum too. Definitely worth checking out for 5-10 mins to learn about this piece of American history.

If you’re in LA, I would say this is a must visit place, ez to miss but also unmissable with the large single arch. This is the oldest McDonald’s in the world, it brings you back in time, even has a little museum with old packaging and newspaper clippings. Toilets were disgusting but food was nice and fresh.

So cool to be here at the worlds oldest McDonald’s in 1954 where ray croc opened it’s first outlet in California.

This is the only MacDonald’s that fries the apple pies the original way. Ordering is done outside, and there is a little dining area with an attached museum with historic MacDonald’s memorabilia. The apple pies were hot and delicious.

It’s pretty cool to see the oldest surviving McDonald’s, the original design and all the displays. I’d give it five stars if it were cleaner—without the overflowing trash around the trash cans in the dining area and all over the floor in women’s bathroom.

It’s so nice to see the McDonald’s memorabilia in the mini museum and learn how popular the beloved fast food restaurant was through the decades. This old McDonald’s was also the filming location for The Founder with Michael Keaton as Ray Croc.

Worth the detour to eat at the world’s oldest serving McDonald’s! They have all the standard food you’d expect. There’s a small McDonald’s Museum that’s open to walk into, along with some retro seating. Good fun!

This is the original McDonald’s. They have a small Museum of Artifacts to the right side that is pretty interesting actually. Definitely a landmark and should be visited.

A really cool McDonald’s! It is the oldest one that is still operating. It is really neat. There is also a museum that is much larger than expected in the seating area to the right. The museum shows a lot of history about McDonald’s and how it first started. Loved the location, definitely check it out if you’re in the area.
