I ordered a small regular coffee and 3 chocolate chip cookies thru the mobile app. I get the creamer and sugar on the side to save time.
My coffee was stale which I noticed as soon as it was getting handed off thru the window. Coffee takes 3-4 minutes to brew fresh. I told the drive thru attendant that I’d wait for a fresh cup because I’m sure this is not.
I parked in space one and noticed the cookies were cold little brick pellets. I decided to take them inside rather than wait for the coffee only to send her back to get new cookies as well.
I get inside and rather than ask Daniel for help I wanted to get Alex’s attention. The sweater to me meant management so I didn’t want to worry anyone else with my issue.
Alex stood and looked at me plain in the face and ignored me. Eventually after Daniel asked me how he could help I asked him to please get the manager for me and asked if he was one while nodding towards Alex.
Alex comes over begrudgingly and I explain why I’m inside. He takes the cookies, squeezes the bag then agrees they aren’t good.
He walks away without a word of encouragement, no update on the coffee or anything.
Lisseth then takes over to assist me. Meanwhile, the attendant from the drive thru doesn’t even know I’m inside because Alex never told her. She brought what seemed to be a microwaved cup of the same exact old coffee to the car
Message is loud and clear. I’ll stick to coffee in the morning only or late night when I’m doing your food deliveries because at 4PM cookies, coffee or customer service were not at all the highlight.
Thank you Daniel – he was great, greeted everyone with care, moved swiftly helping the team. Lisseth was attentive and noticed that I was just there and left to my own devices, she was patient enough to listen, apologize for the inconsistency of service and move me right along. Lastly, I hope Alex has a better rest of the day and can turn that frown upside down.
Oh, the 5 creams and 10 packets of sugar plus 1 stirrer that I ordered came in the bag as 10 creamers, 5 sugars and no stirrer luckily I had a spoon in the car

I am so disappointed((.
They also don’t have self serve refills for your soda, so you have to work your way through a dozen other customers standing around aimlessly waiting for their food to wait around for a busy employeeto refill your drink. They also charge for bags, so if you have leftovers, good luck, because they’ll only give you a tiny bag for free. Otherwise, do I need to go to the kiosk and pay $0.10 with my credit card? Then go and wait for it up front?
Also, the stupid kiosk asks you for a table number, but doesn’t include all the tables as an optiom, so you have to put the wrong table down and then intercept your food before it goes to the wrong people. And when you go to the counter to get your food, you have to make multiple trips because you got food for the family including drinks and a happy meal which makes it impossible to taken in one trip. Then if you need extra napkins, be prepared again to fight your way through the crowd, only to get like 4 extra napkins. Perfect for three people eating greasy food, not to mention a toddler who sticks his fingers in his ketchup.
I don’t often eat McDonald’s, but this was a good enough reason to never step foot inside of one again.
Oh, and bring warm clothes if you sit in the play place room!
