My wife, our family, and I eat at McDonald’s around 10 times a month across Colorado Springs, so we have a pretty good sampling of the different locations. I’ll echo what others have said — this location is consistently the most expensive (roughly 10% higher than others) and routinely the slowest.

I do want to say the staff doesn’t appear lazy. In fact, they usually look busy and are working hard. My impression is that the issue may be understaffing rather than effort.

One of my biggest frustrations is the decision to remove all self-serve items. There are no refills, no ketchup packets, and not even napkins available in the lobby. I understand concerns around waste or theft, but many other McDonald’s locations in the Springs — even in higher-traffic or tougher areas — still provide at least some basic items for customers. Given that this store is in Falcon, it’s hard to understand the reasoning. Furthermore, no one else (Wendy’s, Culvers, Carls Jr, Arbys, etc.) do this it just feels cheap and frankly unwelcoming.

If you need something simple like napkins or ketchup, you have to stand at the counter and wait for someone to notice you. It makes the experience feel awkward, unnecessarily restrictive and very unwelcoming. It honestly feels like a doctors office waiting for your number to be called. At least the doctors office is clean, here at MCD’s it’s typically dirty (because the employees never have time to clean).

I’d genuinely like to see this location succeed. I’ve tried submitting feedback through corporate channels but only received a generic response. I’m hoping ownership takes note of the consistent feedback and makes some adjustments. I take my kids out on fast food dates every week, I typically say no to this Mcdonald’s because it really has nothing to offer.

we went for breakfast. The food was okay though the options were limited. The service was poor and it was very clear. They didn’t really want to talk to you or have you eat there?. They didn’t give us syrup, pancakes, salt and pepper for other things, etc. we had to go ask for those things and still didn’t get exactly what we wanted

A few days ago i was dining in, and for some reason i received a McCrispy in a big mac box and when i asked about it we were dismissed about it instantly, then when it was opened there was spicy Snack wrap sauce on it, i waited 40 minutes for a new Mc crispy, it was cold.

Every single time my boyfriend and I have come here, we get awful service and awful food. We got food last night for dinner: we received 2 items that were incorrect, not a super big deal I was going to eat it anyway BUT…I went to bite into my chicken sandwich and it was so hard and stale I couldn’t even chew it. I had to spit it out. Pur fries were unsalted, cold, dry, and completely stale.

I dont know what’s with this resturaunt location but obviously somethings not right. The employees are rude, I do not want to come back. I also recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Ask and you shall receive… I guess…

I ask for extra pickles on my two double cheeseburgers. They came with a 1/2 stack of sliced pickles each. My husband order double cheeseburgers as well they gave us his burgers dripping in grease as if they had poured extra on top of his burgers. They were literally dripping. Also the girl who handed me my food had a sneer on her face like she had done something underhanded when she handed me my food….

Just had the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had at a McDonald’s drive through. Placed a mobile order, went through the drive through to pick it up. Waited at the order microphone for a long time with no response. Customers in the drive through lane next to us however were helped one after the other. Finally in confusion we pulled forward to the payment window assuming our microphone wasn’t working. However as soon as we pulled forward the person in the car behind was immediately spoken to. Guy at the window didn’t speak to or acknowledge us once again for awhile, all while taking multiple orders. When he finally opened his window we explained our situation of waiting at the microphone for a long time without help and gave him our mobile order number. without any acknowledgment or apology he prints and hands us a receipt. The woman at the pickup window handed us our drink very deadpan and monotone and then asked us to pull forward to wait for our order, the man who eventually handed us the order stared at us wide eyed and once again was monotone with no expression. Feels very silly to write a complaint about but after the incredibly strange behavior of three separate employees we were very much given the impression that they didn’t want to serve us. We were friendly if not frustrated the whole time but customer service was so poor and lacking that we felt uncomfortable even being served.

We stopped by ptoday to get a quick drink! We were in a rush this morning which is why we choose McDonald’s over somewhere else. However after we paid we were told that we would have to wait because their machine was being worked on! Had I been told this I would have come back later when I had more time!

When I asked if I could just get a refund or come back to get my drinks later I was told no because their manager was already mad and I would have no other choice but to wait and park.

This morning I ordered a very simple order 3 mcmuffins and 2 hash browns i waited over 20 minutes in the drive through to get the wrong order. I go in and say I have the wrong order and the front lady said I’ll get you a refund and the right order. 10 minutes later I
ask where my order is and the mange told me im only getting a refund and if I wanted my food I would have to buy it again and wait. keep in mind I’ve been there for 40 plus minutes I left without food and will never go there again.

So the food was great. Haven’t even eaten it yet but I know it’s going to be good. It always is it’s the same thing, right? What wasn’t great was the attitude from this pink haired lady who kind of snarled and said what when I said why would I have to move up? I was just waiting at the other window for 5 minutes for my change and now I’m at this window and you’re asking me to pull up for your numbers. No thanks, I don’t like that. Next time I’m going to ask for my money back and then when you say pull into spot 3. I’m like where is it and you’re like no go ahead and just pull up to the next window and you had my bag of food in your hand. Was I being rude? No. Of why I’m not pulling forward. It’s fast. Food not ordered here. Pick up there. It’s fast food as and I ordered it 10 minutes ago and it should be done by now. You want your numbers to stay good and drive through get better at your job. It’s a skill issue. It’s not pushing people along to the next spot to wait. Overall terrible experience. I’m only going to stop there because it’s the closest one on my way to work manager look just as puzzled as the server. When I asked why would I pull up? It’s two sandwiches not only that but this Red Bull drink that cost about five bucks. She didn’t even fill it up all the way. Very dissatisfied matter of fact -10 if I could this place get it together man. I see you first thing in the morning. You should have a great attitude. Filthy. Not a clean table in the place. The Self purchase is ridiculous. Every screen is trying to upsell….just give me my order!….go back to customer service. Only one other person in the eating area. mcrib was a return visit…food quality…..ick!
