Just picked up a take out order and asked for a special request. Not only was the store manager more than happy to do it for me, he went to the back and took care of it personally. That is some stand up customer service from someone who clearly cares for their guests experience! Great job Boss, officially my new favorite MickyDees!
You can tell the staff is focused on the drive thru mainly and no one wants to come to the counter. Most of the time I have had to force one of the staff to stop and ask about my order only to find out that it has been passed over and they have to reprint the receipt just to make the food.
One time in particular we waited for over 30 minutes and when we got a 4 piece chicken nugget, it only had 2.
We waited another 20 minutes with no update. I eventually got down and went inside. I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. When I asked to speak to a manager, a woman named Alma came over. She showed no empathy, looked frustrated, and offered no apology. When I asked why our order was taking so long, her response was, “It’s not my fault, I just got here.”
What made it worse was seeing orders being delivered to other drive-thru and curbside customers while our order — which had been sitting on the counter the whole time — was never brought out.
This was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The lack of communication and the unprofessional response from the manager made it even more frustrating. Customer service matters, and situations like this need to be handled with accountability and care.
The food was great also and there wasn’t much of a wait despite it being busy. 8 out of 10 only cause the drive thru line was packe… not McDonald’s faults tho… they really was getting orders done. Ppl just kept coming!!! Lmao
