What made the stop even better was the clean restroom. That’s something you always hope for when traveling, and it really stood out here. It may seem small, but for road trips, it’s a big deal. The service was quick, the place was tidy, and it gave us exactly what we needed to keep going.
I’m glad we chose this McDonald’s on our trip—it did the job, and then some. Definitely worth the stop if you’re passing through Texarkana and need a quick break that won’t disappoint.

This has occurred multiple times, usually after my work shift when I order a breakfast meal. Consistency in customer service is important, and unfortunately this location has consistently failed to meet that standard. I hope management addresses this issue and provides additional training to improve the customer experience.
Let’s talk about the lunch and evening crew. I come to this location daily. Every morning to be exact. The only times I have issues with this location is the lunch/ evening crew. One to start off my orders during lunch/ dinner are NEVER correct. Which I’ve gone back in multiple times to get the things correct. After so many times though you gotta think, are the employees even reading? Today took the cake though, I placed an order online, apparently the server went down as I placed my order, which is no big deal at all. However this is my first experience with this so I go in to ask about getting my money back or my meal since I have proof of purchase, not knowing they didn’t get the order. It took me a min to even get help cause the employees were too involved in their own conversation, about one being off clock while the other is still on the clock. Which again I get, but when I ask the “manager” or shift lead whatever she is she said they didn’t get it so she can’t do nothing, ok what about my money, she repeats there nothing she can do. So I go back out call the number they said the store can refund me and it will take 1-7 business days. Cool so I go back in and I ask if she the manger she turns back says yes, so I ask what her name is. She completely ignores me while she laughs and carry’s on with another employee. I ask again what her name is and get ignored again. Another employee grabs the actual general manager in which she explained the situation, explains why it’s showing in my account that they took the money and explains I’ll have it back in about 3 hours. That’s fine now my problem is why the other manager couldn’t even acknowledge me and tell me her name. I’m trying to figure out why my money is taken if yall didn’t get the order, she couldn’t be bothered with a customer because her conversation with her employee is far more important. She had no problem turning around and acknowledging me while the GM was explaining it to me and run her mouth about me and the situation. Which is not only unprofessional, but childlike. If you can’t do your job as a manager or shift lead, then don’t take that position. If you can’t be bothered with explaining to a customer how the process works, then you don’t need to be in that position. Yes customers are not always right, and I wasn’t correct with getting my refund because I was not aware of how McDonald’s system works, seeing how I’m not an employee, however as an employee you should know your system enough to be able to explain it to your customers when situations like this arise.
I’ll find another place to spend money for my lunch and dinners. Only time I’ll return in during the morning because of how great the customer service is.
Been a while, Macdonald supporter (especially this location) but when you can’t give me an ETA or allow me to wait for the system to come back up, it seems a bit ridiculous to keep ALL employees on the clock and I’m not allowed to wait to be served….
Left drive through to go over the bridge to other I-30 location. A Big Mac shouldn’t be this hard. If McDonald’s reaches out and clarifies that I can wait for food I’ll update the review same day….
Also, maybe retrain system down SOP cause that was rough interaction
