I really wanted to give this place a chance because the playlist was actually great, but the vibe inside is completely derailed by the lack of basic upkeep. The restaurant felt neglected; every surface was coated in a layer of grime that made it hard to feel comfortable even sitting down.
The environment felt genuinely chaotic. At one point, a man tried to snatch my backpack right from under my feet while I was eating. Between the sticky floors and the total lack of security, it’s impossible to enjoy your meal. It’s a shame because the music was the only thing they got right, but “good tunes” don’t make up for a complete lack of cleanliness and safety.

Count your days mcdonalds! I paid to have bacon added to my fish filet and you put tomatoes! 2 dollars for something I didnt even receive! Worst experience ever! Who ever you are you need to be fired! If I were allergic to tomatoes you my friend would be talking to my lawyer! I’m so glad I checked my food before I took a bite!

This store has 95% patrons from one community, who apparently have gathered mainly to meet someone in the neighboring federal courthouse. Many of them seem to be there primarily to escape the heat and soak in the cool AC air. They just order a few sodas and continuously refill their cups.
My order: the sever did not give my soda or even a cup. I had to go back and ask for it. The salsa that I had ordered with my chicken mcnuggets never arrived. Most tables were dirty from the previous customers’ use.

Order #323 placed and paid for 1006pm, received at 1025pm. 4 people ordered and paid for their food after me and received their order before me. The fish meal was okay, fries okay. The drink was much better than the food. The cashier thought he was a comedian, telling the security lady I told him I didn’t want my mocha drink, this silliness only delayed my order further. It was nonsense.

Safety Concerns for Families with Children – Needs Immediate Attention
I visited this McDonald’s location at 1000 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202 around 10:00 PM with my child after an evening walk in downtown Dallas. My child loves McDonald’s, so we decided to stop by for a quick meal.
However, upon arrival, I noticed a large number of homeless individuals gathered both outside and inside the restaurant. During our short time there, I witnessed verbal arguments escalating into physical altercations, involving the security guard on site.
This was my first time visiting Dallas as a tourist, staying at a hotel in the heart of downtown, and I expected to feel safe in such a central, well‑known area. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uneasy and concerned for our safety. The situation felt chaotic, unsafe, and intimidating — especially for families with young children. My child was frightened, and I was genuinely concerned for our well‑being.
While I understand homelessness is a complex social issue, it is the responsibility of the store management to ensure a safe and welcoming dining environment for all paying customers.
I strongly urge McDonald’s management to take immediate steps to improve security and the overall customer experience at this location. This could include:
• Increasing the presence of trained security personnel during evening hours.
• Coordinating with local authorities to reduce unsafe loitering in and around the restaurant.
• Implementing clear policies to ensure customer safety and comfort inside the dining area.
McDonald’s is a globally recognized brand, and I believe most customers — especially families — expect a safe, clean, and friendly environment when they choose to dine here. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly so this location can become a place where customers feel comfortable bringing their children, even during later hours.
I look forward to seeing improvements in the near future.

NOT ♿️ FRIENDLY, DIRTY, & RUDE!
The RR, diner, & parking are horrible & have 1 handicap spot. When I pulled up there was a car in the ♿️ spot with no ♿️ tag or plates. The “SECURITY GUY” & some random guy were leaned on the car so I thought it was theirs. I rolled down my window & asked if they had a tag or if they could move their car since it didnt have either ♿️ tags(my left tibia&femur were broken). They both acted dumb & said “sorry, its taken cant move it”. I asked 2X again and got nothing from them. Freaking inconsiderate & rude.
I’de give it 0⭐️ if I could.

Stopped by the drive-thru for desserts and ice cream. Order was correct and the treats were good. That said, the area around the parking lot had a lot of activity with unhoused individuals. I understand this isn’t the restaurant’s fault, but it did affect the overall experience, and we’ll likely choose a different location next time. I hope site management and local services can address the surroundings so the great drive-thru service can really shine.

I had a confusing and frustrating experience at the drive-thru at this McDonald’s. I was asked to pull forward past the second window to wait for my order. After a while, a security guard—not a McDonald’s employee—walked up to my car holding two bags of food but didn’t say anything. I was confused and trying to figure out what was happening since no one identified themselves or confirmed the order. When I said my name to check if the order was mine, he told me I had him standing there for no reason and just staring at him. Before I could apologize or explain that I was just confused, he walked away.
The food itself was fine, but the interaction felt rude and unprofessional. It was also strange that a security guard, rather than an employee, was bringing out orders to customers.

It was quiet here on Black Friday. Nice to try the US breakfast menu. Pictures posted of the food. The McGriddle made with pancakes was pleasant.
Plenty of seats here and service for the food was fast but they were slow to serve the orange juice
