The food is good and fresh, but there is always a line that moves slowly. If you have any specific changes double check it before you leave because literally half the time it is incorrect. Either it is missing something or has extra something else. Not much else to choose from in the area so they keep getting business by default.

Manager Alyx Makes Elkins McDonald’s the BEST!
I am writing this review to give Manager Alyx at the Elkins, Arkansas McDonald’s five stars—she is truly exceptional!
As a customer who uses a walker, I often find simple trips challenging, but Alyx makes it an easy and heartwarming experience every single time. Her level of dedication and kindness is outstanding:
• Proactive Care: She is immediately attentive when I arrive. Without fail, Alyx is right there to open the door for me and helps me get safely to my table.
• Complete Service: She personally delivers my entire order—food, drink, napkins, and all the condiments—right to my seat. I never have to worry about carrying a tray while managing my walker.
• Constant Attentiveness: She keeps an eye on her customers. If I ask for a drink refill, Alyx is incredibly quick to bring it over, saving me another trip to the counter.
Alyx leads by example with incredible patience, kindness, and dedication. She is an absolute asset to the Elkins location, and her service makes a real, positive difference in the community. Thank you, Alyx!

I ordered breakfast in the app prior to coming to McDonald’s and get there 2 minutes after 10:30 in the drive through and they couldnt process my order even though it took my money. They said they couldn’t mske it. The person in the drive through i spoke to was on this day at this moment. I recommend to stop placing orders in the app well before 10:30 or at least note that if we get there after 10:30 they won’t make the order. Its a little irritating to get there after you paid for a meal and they don’t make it. I would appreciate a phone call from someone a little more friendlier. If you get orders before 10:30 they should be made to fulfill the orders not to get there just to disappoint customers.

This location cannot get service down to make any sense. Simple orders take 5 minutes plus. They pull meat out of heating trays to set on plastic pieces on the line and use their hands to grab different meats and toppings. They stand on the line and eat food with their gloves on and don’t change it. I’ve submitted to their little link and get “Thanks, we’re looking into this.” But each time it got worse. Do not waste time or money. Scrap the whole joint. I’ve worked in food service and I cannot trust this place at all.

I just find it ridiculous that this place almost every day makes my coffee wrong. It’s like they pass a step or avoid putting sugar and the syrup just to make it faster getting it out the window. Also, I ordered the hot cakes breakfast today and the bottom of my bag was just covered in syrup. There was a slit in my syrup and it spilled everywhere. I didn’t even get to use it. Also I had two orders. My mom was missing her sausage biscuit and I have witnessed. I’m almost handing a coffee of mine out to the people in front of me. It just gets to the point where it’s annoying and a nuisance to even ask bare minimum what you pay for

Waited so long, my break was almost over, they don’t prioritize anyone sitting and eating at all. The fries were stale and not salted. The person bringing the food out to me walked up to every table except mine. While eating what I could, the only thing I could hear is workers constantly complaining about everything. Last thing, the ketchup dispenser was dispensing bad ketchup. It’s not supposed to be pale! Avoid this McDonald’s not even worth it

This place really gets on my nerves every time you come here no matter what time it is they park you and make you wait on your food. It’s more infuriating when they park every car to make it not look like it’s busy just to bump their numbers up. They’re definitely not getting your food to you in a timely manner in the slightest bit and you can almost guarantee they’re gonna make you go sit in a parking spot and wait 5 to 10 minutes for your food. Honestly, really surprised anybody puts up with this anymore.

Took almost 30 minutes to get two $5 bundles, even though we were the only people there and they didn’t have a busy drive through. Staff wouldn’t give us our drinks while we waited on our food, then they wouldnt give us refills and the drink station is not out (edited to add: the third employee we asked who was the runner for drive through gave us a refill). The nuggets were hot and fresh, but mine was supposed to be no onions (they forgot) and the sauces were wrong. The fries were old, hard, and cold. The burgers were cold with very hard buns. My husband’s tea was supposed to be light ice and they put so much in it he could barely get the straw in. Don’t recommend this location.

The lady with long blonde hair and a chunky build, believe she is a manager, was really rude and abrasive. The service is almost always slow but there are a couple of decent employees in there so I still gave 3 stars.

Never been to a McDonald’s that is so consistently bad. Foods old. Sodas flat and warm or watered down. I’ve made gotten the correct order a hand full of of time and if you do a mobile order expect to sit in your car for over 15 minutes before they bring it out. Regardless of how early you order it. Maybe they are short staffed but somethings gotta be done especially it being one of the two only places to eat in Elkins at night
