I don’t understand why it’s so hard to make a proper Filet-O-Fish sandwich. It has a steamed bun, a fried fish patty, half of a slice of cheese, and tartar sauce. Before I order one, I always ask “is your bun steamer working”. I ask that because every store I go to is now toasting the buns which gives the sandwich a totally different taste. Since this McDonald’s location is new, I figured the bun steamer would be working and the food would be great! When I asked if the bun steamer was working, the cashier replied “yes”. So I ordered a Filet-O-Fish sandwich and a medium order of fries. Needless to say, I received a warmed-over fish patty on a toasted bun with cold cheese and tartar sauce. No problem. I took it back and asked to speak to the manager. She responded that the cashier who took my order probably didn’t know what a bun steamer was. I then said again, if the bun steamer is not working, I’ll just take a Quarter Pounder with Cheese. This time, they served me a freshly-steamed bun with another warmed-over fish patty. Here’s my thought: since you have to redo my order, why not cook the fish patty? Back in the day, it only took 4 minutes to fry a fish patty. I waited that long for the steamed bun. Didn’t get any fresh fries either. What happened to good customer service? What was the purpose of the manager stepping in if she wasn’t going to confirm that my replacement order goes out correctly? ♀️

New McDonald’s awesome. Walked in and get slapped with the heat. Then notice the floors are slippery….everywhere. Slide to the bathroom pull the changing table down to be greeted with a meth pipe wrapped in toilet paper and the table is leaning bad. Get our food its hot but order isn’t right. Get attitude when I brought it to the lady’s attention. Id compare this McDonald’s to the one in downtown Dallas by the greyhound or the on at the end of Santa Monica Pier minus the “non housed”. This McDonald’s is too new to be this bad.

Honestly 1 star is extremely generous. If you love to wait in the drive thru, have cold fries and horrible customer service, then you will love it !!! Even when there are NO cars in the parking lot you are still going to wait forever and be treated like you are an absolutely inconvenience to the employees day. Never stop here if you are: traveling with children, babies, the elderly, or anyone who may be slightly impatient. If you need to grab a quick meal, or a hot meal for that matter. This is genuinely the worst restaurant I have been to in my entire life. Stop anywhere on the service road, just not here.

this mcdonalds SUCKS!! So rude, took forever to get just a happy meal, and the building was empty! The dining area looks like it hasnt been touched in weeks. They so obviously do not care anything about customer service. If youre ever in ruston, go to the McDonalds down town, on trenton. lol

Outstanding hashbrowns! Stopped for a quick breakfast on our way out town, and we had the BEST. Hashbrowns. EVER!!! Employees were polite, quick and efficient. But seriously, the hashbrowns were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Not greasy and fresh out of the dryer or oven.
