Every time I come through drive through my order is messed up fries are cold and the lady who hands me my food always has an attitude I tried to be understanding cuz I work in food and understand it’s literally every time it’s something else. Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. Went through the drive through for a quick bite to eat, I’m the only one in the drive through… I pay $10.52 for my #9 large sit for a min they tell me to pull to the next window where I sat and waited for over 15 min looking inside there maybe 6 people in there eating! Had to get back to work. Drove away and took the $10.52 loss. Idk how it takes that long to get 2 cheese burgers to someone in the drive through

Just left here and we had a big order, we didn’t wait long, but before we even left the lot the bag torn open mind you the bag was over stuffed. Then we had to greet them. No hi bye thank until we said it. Shout out to the grill team for getting 6 sandwiches correct. When I called the store there was no answer imagen that. Do better with the customer service.

McDonald’s on 40th is the bomb.com!!! The guy working the window Ali deserves the biggest shout out!! He went above and beyond making sure my food was hot and all correct (which means so much because I always have to check the bag to make sure they aren’t missing anything at my normal location lol) as well as making sure the cookies I ordered were fresh out the oven. Ali was so sweet and friendly really serving up smiles and laughter as well as HOT FRESH food!!! GET THIS GUY A RAISE!!!! Will definitely be making 40th my new go to location!! Thank you Ali!!!!

TL/DR: the drive-through closes randomly at night and you find out when you get there. Reoccurring issues with “the system” make it impossible to predict delivery order cancellations for drivers and customers. When this happens, delivery orders remain active and cycle from one driver to the next as staff informs each driver of the system failure upon arrival.

Website says this location is open 24 hours on weekends. 2:30am Sat night / Sun morning the drive-through was closed, staff refusing in-person orders stating they were only making delivery orders.
Luckily for me, I was picking up an active delivery order. At the window I was told the system had “automatically canceled” it and that nothing could be done. The employee could not confirm the reason and stated that since a recent system update, the tablet cancels delivery orders “for no reason.”
I contacted the customer, who confirmed the order was still active and not canceled on their end. Every system involved said something different, yet the end result was the same: no food for anyone.
If the drive-through is closed and delivery “doesn’t work” what are you guys doing in there, guarding the McNuggets?

I’ve tried many McDonald’s stores. This one is conveniently located at the SW corner of Dodge and 40th St in Midtown Omaha. Today, I tried the 10 piece McNugget meal. service was good staff was very courteous and helpful. The meal was served as ordered, and hot . This McDonald’s still offers free refills on soft drinks Very clean and neat interior . So, give them a try

The customer service is straightforward. But there is no eagerness or joy coming from any of the workers. Which makes sense. After all, where are they working? It’s McDonald’s.

Atmosphere is empty. Corporate. Modern. Soulless. It’s McDonald’s.
