Table service is quick and friendly.
The restaurant and bathrooms are spotless.
The food is fresh and satisfying. If you customize the $6 daily double meal you can just about getting the equivalent of a QPC deluxe value meal for a great price.
This is a standout McDonald’s.

1640 S.W. Wanamaker Topeka, KS. Sitting at table waiting for our order 10:40AM. This female employee walks up, states excuse me and starts sweeping under our table with us sitting there. I asked her to wait please as we were trying to stand up and change seats. I asked again as she was blocking me from getting up. She swept my left foot. I stated hey wait we are trying to move from the table. She ignored and kept sweeping, so freaking rude. Thank Goodness I’m not a confrontational person. Is this how customers are treated at this restaurant. If I could give her a negative ZERO I would. The cashier was very professional 5 star for her!!

There was a large spill of a soda in the eating seating area that I brought to the attention of the person taking our food order…she advised that it was being taken care of although she appeared to not see this as important or worried about how it looked.. I questioned a second employee who was bringing out orders to the seating area who the manager was. He ask me why… i asked do you know who this person is .. he said yes but didn’t give me a name… I asked that he bring this to the attention of the manager…when he brought out our order I inquired again … he said the manager was aware it…. We have been here over 20 minutes and the mess hasn’t been cleaned up… I understand the placed is busy as it should be but cleanliness and safety is also important… and says a lot about a fast food business.

We were greeted immediately. Did our order at the kiosk. Paid at the register and the cashier Identified me by the name on my order! She greeted every customer. In fact, a regular came in, and she knew they wanted their hot fudge Sunday. The whole restaurant was very friendly. Food was fresh. Restaurant was clean.

When fast food can’t be put together in an edible way and they miss the most simple requests they’re not worth going to anymore. I asked for no onions so of course it looks like they put on extra onions. Once I removed all of the onions I noticed that centering up some cheese on a burger patty is apparently a skill that you need to attend college or a trade school to master. I am ready for the switch over to the robots.

On a road trip. Stopped briefly to get some dinner after driving all day. Asked for two hamburgers. Only change is… NO ONIONS. That’s it. Just leave OFF ONE ingredient. Nope. Mouthful of onions. They put onions ON BOTH! How? Why?
