Going to this McDonald’s is a very frustrating experience. I ordered just 2 McChicken sandwiches at the drive-thru and still had to wait almost 20 minutes. At the window they tell you “we’ll bring your order out in 2 minutes” and send you to the parking lot. If you’re lucky, someone brings your food after 20 minutes.
What’s worse is that sometimes they don’t even know where your order is, and when you ask about it you find out they gave it to someone else.
On top of that, the night shift manager is very rude and unpleasant. Her attitude toward customers is unacceptable and it seems like she doesn’t care about customer service. This location seriously needs to improve its organization and service

Normally this is my favorite location. However the last few weeks, I’ve received the wrong item 3 out of 3 times!! Hopefully it’s just new employees being trained, and will return to good service soon.
I always order McDouble no onions
First week it had onions.
Second week it had extra onions, and no pickle.
This week… Yay no onions. But missing a patty.

They won’t give every dine-in customer a table locator number and bring food to them, but for some dine-customers, they’ll put food in a bag or on a tray and expect you to come to the counter and get it. They discriminately decide who they’ll bring food to and who they won’t. Even the new manager does this. This is unorthodox, discriminatory and disrespectful but this is how they operate, In addition, now they won’t give a small (4 oz) water cup to a customer if you ask for it, but they’ll tell you they sell it for 25 cents. This is ridiculous. No other McDonald’s nor restaurant does this, and it shows their lack of respect and gratitude to customers. This is an overpriced hamburger “joint” with poor quality food, and now they’re charging for a very small water cup. In addition, their seats are dirty, and they should clean their seats before they start charging for a water cup! They’re not deserving of customers. I’ll never return. I don’t know if the problem is the new manager or the franchise owner, but this is not a congenial place to go to.

Consistently horrible customer service. They regularly miss things ordered. I’ve never been able to get anyone at the store to answer their phone when I do have a problem. When I go back to get the items I’ve already paid for, never even get an I’m sorry, or any kind of remorse. Only come to this store for bad service and cold fries. The are 2 other McDonald’s father away from me with great customer service, it’s worth the drive to miss this one.

Unfortunately, this is the closest and most convenient McDonalds. They are constantly getting our orders wrong. Yesterday, I went through for breakfast and ordered a small sprite and breakfast sandwich. I was given my drink and bag at the window and went on to get on the highway for an appointment. When I reached to my back, I realized I was given a single hash brown instead of the breakfast sandwich. After a few tries to call the restaurant, I spoke with the general manager named Matthew. I informed him that I was given the wrong item and that I would just like credit to replace it Since I was unable to turn around to go address the issue. The general manager, let me know that it’s a two-way street there and that I have the responsibility to check my order before I leave. He was totally unapologetic and polite and basically was saying it’s the responsibility of the consumer to make sure their order is right. I’m sorry I don’t work at McDonald’s and I’ve never applied there so forgive me if I failed to do my job at a place I don’t even work at. He also let me know that if I was so dissatisfied, I could go to a different McDonalds. Like what kind of manager is that? You shouldn’t work in hospitality if that is your attitude. Instead, you should be apologetic- “I’m sorry we got that wrong, I would love to fix it” instead of encouraging people away from your business seems like a more appropriate approach. This place needs some serious re-vamping and training. If you choose to go here. Make sure you do your due diligence and check your own order before pulling off, since it’s hard for the ones that work there to do it.

Ordered a large drink, chocolate milk and hamburger. Was parked on the hamburger behind a few other cars. Multiple cars piling in behind me. After waiting about 10 minutes and having multiple people walk up to my window asking me for cash, I stopped my car, unbuckled my 2 yr old to go inside for a refund. As I was inside trying to get my money back, the first car waiting was also in there because they were going on close to a 20 min wait. As I looked behind the counter there were multiple hamburgers sitting made and ready to go. I wasn’t given a receipt so it wasn’t something I could call about later…strangely as I’m buckling 2 yr old back into the car seat every other car in the drivethru is getting their food and leaving the parking lot while us parked losers have been forgotten.

I ordered fries with no salt and everything was really salty. My hands were covered in salt tonight and I just did not like this at all. I highly do not recommend coming to this McDonald’s ever again.

We have a lot of McDonald’s to choose from in Olathe. The manager is fabulous and is great in giving back to our community. I am a teacher and she is willing to donate to my class each week for “class of the week” This is a great motivator for my students in work productivity and classroom expectations. In the past I have purchased the reward each week so this is a true blessing for everyone. Olathe proud!

The manager and an employee J-Mo were running the front. Extremely shorthanded. The younger gentleman was running the inside register and drive thru. The manager was running the fries and like a good coach-calling the plays to the employees making the food. Totally good vibe as he was treating his employees with respect, while helping out front. For being short handed. They both represented themselves extremely professional. Oh yeah, the food was not cold. Good job team
