This place is horrible! I’ve been here multiple times since it’s the one closest to me and I don’t think I will be going back. I just went to get breakfast with my mom and she got the biscuits and gravy… the food is great but not this time I’m disgusted by the fact that there was a hair in her food. I also had to wait about 10 minutes for my iced caramel macchiato, when the worker first brought it out it was a hot cappuccino and when he brought out the right one it was almost all milk. There was barely any coffee IN my coffee!! The people working the morning shift were very respectful and showed care but the night shift workers are different they are snappy and barely looked up from their phone to give me my food but at least they don’t leave hair in my food. I’ll make sure to show a picture of the food because you can see my WHITE coffee and the literal hair in my food, thank you! (We did get pup cups due to a great worker!!)

This McDonald’s has been SO bad since changing ownership before COVID. I mean SO bad. It’s awful. Just got a cold quarter pounder from here with a rock solid stale bun, ordered at 10:30am sharp the minute the lunch menu starts.. Every other experience I’ve had here since the new owners took over has been seriously terrible. If you use the app for curbside pickup good luck, you’ll eventually just have to go inside and ask them for your order. If you order at the window good luck getting the correct order. If you order anything at all, good luck not getting something made several hours ago.

Placed an order through the app and curbside was not available so I chose drive thru. Pulled in and 6 cars in the line ahead of me and one lane open. 15 minutes later I got my order only to get to the office and have cold food and no napkins in the bag. If you don’t have enough employees to run the restaurant and provide “quality” food and service then don’t bother to open. It would have taken someone 30 seconds to run the order out curbside, instead I get cold food and late for work. Thanks McDonalds, good job!!

Convenient location but customer service is terrible. I was waiting for a long period of time. I saw a bag sitting on the counter and wondered if that was our order. After a while, the employee brought that bag out to me. I complained to the employee that our order had been ready and she turned around and walked off while I was talking to her. I had to park my car and come in and talk to the manager she wasn’t much better. I explained to them that my order had been sitting on the counter, waiting for someone to bring it to me. The manager claims it was not, but they were being rude, curt and kept cutting me off. As a customer, allow me to speak without interruption that helps de-escalate the situation. This is the third time that I’ve experienced bad customer service from this McDonald’s however, today was the worst. To add to my frustration, the food we ordered caused my son to throw it up right after eating it. Now he’s at home in bed sick, instead of being at school. They don’t have to worry about me coming again.

Clearly management does not care about this restaurant or McDonald’s as a corporation at all. I pointed out humbly some things that seemed disgusting to me from an outside view. And he basically told me he didn’t care. That he didn’t care about McDonald’s and then all he cared about was a paycheck. So I politely let him know that we were just on different levels. I’m not telling customers not to go here because clearly there’s a demand for food at this location. But I would recommend leaving. A review every time you come to this location and recommend that McDonald’s restructures management at McDonald’s on Smiley Lane.

They will lock the doors and flat out deny that you have ordered anything, despite taking payment for the order. Theft is a great word. Lazy is another one. I’ll look up the owner, as all are independently owned, and tell them about their sorry excuse of a crew.

I’m always made to wait stuff has been missing more than once and depending on who is working sometimes I get someone rude in the window, cash out window today had a big attitude and was huffy and puffy about her job but the food handout person is always nice to me the one working today. It’s usually breakfast lunch is usually amazing

They didn’t say hello at the 1st window or smiled , a young lady I think with bad teeth and a very bad wig had horrible customer service. She must have been upset that everyone could see her lace. It’s not our problem but when customers come through the drive thru that’s how you make your paycheck so you should take that into consideration

They can’t count…make sure to double check your bags before your leave. Went here three times in the last month and every single time i was missing an item or two. Not going back to this location.

This McDonald’s use to be the best in Columbia. However, service and quality has definitely diminished recently. I asked for ketchup and salt for my fries. None in the bag when I got my order. After I sat at the pickup window for 7 minutes they finally said to move forward while waiting on my quarterpounder. Moved forward and waited about 6 more minutes. When the food came out the fries were COLD and disgusting. They obviously threw them in the bag while waiting on the quarter pounder instead of leaving them under the warmer or grabbing them once the burger was done. I go to eat the quarter pounder “they were making” and it was luke warm. It definitely wasn’t fresh, so why was I left waiting for so long.
