I’ve read the bad reviews. I’m not a big fan of McDonald’s except for there fry’s and cheese burgers. I’m giving this one 5 stars for a few reasons.1 The staff are friendly and attentive. 2 My food was made fresh. 3 I’m doing this because of all the bad reviews and had to go in and see for myself. With that said. Show a little respect to people who are making your food. Cause if you don’t your going to get what you get lol. Well done Mickey Dss. I’ll definitely order here again.

We went there for lunch today while we were coming home to St. Louis, MO from our trip to Omaha, NE. The employee served us the correct meal that we ordered. Even though it came with extra large French Fries, the meal was very delicious. It’s a great place to stop for gas and have a meal while traveling.

I realize that this is attached to a truck stop but the food and service was bad. The lady at the register sat in a chair and took the order wrong. The chicken nuggets tasted old and were the wrong color. The fries were soggy and had to ask for the toy for the kid meal. There is a subway right next to it… maybe stop there instead.

As a driver I’ve been to this McDonald’s many times. This visit left a lot to be desired. Employees were friendly enough and some what helpful. The food on the other hand was a big let down. I ordered a bacon quarter pound burger and no salt fries. The fries were good but the burger . It was as if they made earlier that day and waited for someone to order it. Patty looked burnt was dried out and stiff. Cheese was fresh at one time but had melted and dried and was cold. Whole sandwich had that reheated in a microwave look and feel. And was poorly constructed. Problem was I’m out the lot and entering I-70 before I realized what I had. Needless to say the sandwich went in the trash. This is the 2nd time in a month I got burger like this. I thought it was a one off. Are they pre-making sandwiches in hopes they will be bought before they go south? Looks like I’ll have to stick to the subway at same location. As far as atmosphere another customer asked a girl cleaning the lobby about changing tv from news to local football game. What he got was a long winded excuse about she doesn’t know anything and no one told her about the TV. Said manager told her when she was hired they didn’t know where the remote was for the TV so don’t ask her because she just works there and doesn’t know anything. All in all this visit was a big let down for this McDonald’s. As I said, as a driver I see quite a few McDonald’s. This one is off the list…….after scrolling through reviews this location has basically the same complaint year over year that I had today. And no response to anyone from owner or manager.

This McDonald’s is bizarre. If you come between 12-4 AM they aren’t actually closed, instead they are 100% analog. Cash only, no app allowed, no receipts, nada. Seems to me like a good way to get some unreported cash.

My review is mostly for a woman who works here named Bana (I think this is what she told me her name is). She is the absolute BEST. I usually stop to get an iced coffee most mornings on my way to work, and she is the SWEETEST. She makes my day every. single. time., and when she isn’t there, it just isn’t the same experience. Always happy. Always conversational. Always on top of her game. She most likely is extremely undervalued as a worker, so I wanted to give a shoutout. She deserves IT ALL!
