The McDonald’s app almost makes it too easy to order food. During my prolonged stay using the super fast wi-fi and simultaneously professionally painting my oil cap in the parking lot. I ordered twice and both table service experiences were excellent and the filet-o-fish was substantially better than most locations. Freshly fried and just the right amount of tarter sauce. The bathrooms were clean and the crew was working hard to actively maintain a clean lobby even when they were overrun by the mess of church goers.

Bro, what is this? Who put this together? Who felt the sandpaper texture and just ignored it crumbling as they wrapped it? Who looks at this and goes “Yeah that’s something I’d eat.” It literally smells and tastes like cardboard. What kind of management sees tortillas like this and makes their employees wrap it anyway? McDonald’s wasn’t my first, second or even fifth choice for dinner this evening but it seems that on a Monday night, the entire town of Festus shuts down. The places I wanted to go and hangout were closed for the day or a vacation or whatever. Very frustrating. So it’s McDonald’s and it seems that I wasn’t the only person here with a laptop for a couple of hours.
My fries were excellent – hot and crisp. My burger was okay, not quite hot though assembled properly with cheese that had not melted. Nothing remarkable today, though the restaurant was clean and tidy.

I have been to this location a few times & each time was not a satisfactory experience. The food never tasted like McDonald’s, instead thrown together/meat falling apart. Today 12/29/25 at approx 2:33pm. I ordered a Carmel Frappe. When the woman handed me my Frappe I noticed it had little to no Carmel on top. When I asked her why isn’t there any on top she immediately told me that corporate says to make a “m” letter. Apparently a lower case “m” in my opinion, because like I said there wasn’t any hardly any Carmel on top, I never complain about much but this was ridiculous. I offered to pay extra for more Carmel, she went back to add more Carmel & when I handed her my debit card she says it’s okay. My Frappe then looked like any other time I have ordered at a McDonald’s location. I don’t know if corporate is wanting to be FANCY or not taking in consideration the quality & quantity for the prize. Or maybe the worker was being lazy. Either way, I will not be going back to this location. instead, to the Starbucks located across the street.

This literally happens every time I order from this location. I order the same thing. It’s a mess and half the condiments are on the wrapper instead of the sandwich, I was missing onion altogether and the other sandwich I ordered in advance so i could grab it while trying to pick up food with my doordash order, was soo messy with ketchup all over the burger on the outside, that I took that one and had them remake it. When I went to eat that one it was also missing onions entirely! I was hungry from dashing for the previous 5 hours and once I got the order for my doordash customer I couldn’t just turn back around and go back in because I had to deliver the food. I’d rather have quality over speed. I hate to see what my doordash customer’s food must look like.

This place was nasty. There was old food, trash, and even fake nails all over the floor. The tables were dirty. It looked like it hadn’t been mopped in over a week. All of the trash cans were overflowing and they had chemicals stored behind the one outside.
As for the food, it was cold like it hadn’t been cooked all the way through.

Apparently this McDonald’s has a “A LIMIT” on how many napkins they can give out with each order…after receiving ONE SINGLE NAPKIN with my breakfast sandwich this morning I asked if I can have some ketchup and extra napkins. The rude brunette with her hair in a bun (approximately 6:30am) heavily sighs and hands me ONE MORE NAPKIN and goes “Sorry we have a limit” and proceeds to shut the drive thru window in my face. Like are you kidding me?! I wasn’t aware that napkins were such a hot commodity that they had to impose limits with each order? Downright rude, horrible customer service and utterly laughable that I cannot receive more than 2 napkins with my $5 dollar breakfast sandwich. Rest assured next time I visit I will be going inside AND TAKING AS MANY NAPKINS AS I DAMN WANT!!
