Rarely do I get to treat myself to fast food and this morning I happened to have a few minutes to myself, as well as a few dollars to grab myself a couple breakfast sandwiches from McDonald’s. A Wednesday morning, at 712 a.m., went through the empty drive thru.
I ordered two sausage McMuffins with egg and cheese. What I got were two burnt, dry English muffins, the cheese melting on the burnt bottoms and subpar egg and sausage patty. The English muffins were falling apart since they were so burnt, dry and there was absolutely not any butter on them. They were not made fresh by no means. I no sooner pulled up to the window and the kid handed me my food. I had to ask for napkins, as well. I was going to share this with my grandmother I was going to visit but there’s no way in heck she could have chewed it if I couldn’t. I hope the wild animals enjoyed it cuz it went out the window. There was no time to turn around and go back. So very disappointing and I will certainly not return to this location.

I placed an order through the app. Arrived 5 minutes later, waited 35 minutes for my food. I was told it had been placed in a door dash bag by mistake. I checked the food, it was cold. I went in to have the food replaced. My problem is, if they knew it had been sitting, why not replace it before bringing it out? Common sense!!

Terrible customer service…used the app to place order. While we waiting in the car, several cars went through the drive thru. Waited 20 min before I decided to go inside to check on my order. When I walked in, waited 5 min before I was greeted. The order was sitting behind the counter packed and ready to go, but no one was planning on bringing it out. There was no apology for the wait.

The fries at this location are never fresh or good. Even when I ask for cooked to order they taste old and dry. And I taste more salt on my burger than on the fries

I waited 15 minutes at this location in the drive thru after paying, they gave me cold fries and a raw quarter pounder. Terrible experience. Bad management judgment to understaff their restaurant on a Saturday, at peak lunch times. It made me deeply conserned about the safety of the other food I purchased on this visit. I was clearly mistaken in thinking mcdonalds had higher food quality standards than serving raw food. Especially after being in the news for e. coli.

Went through the drive through to use my mobile app code. The person taking my order failed twice with the code I had, and I could not get my order. Management must train their employees better at this location in Highland IL. After being so frustrated with the service, I left without any food. I would not recommend this location. This is not the first time I had poor service at this location.

Terrible service. They kept saying they were short staffed. I understand that, but when I walk up with a mobile order and without confirming they received my order they walked away from me. I stood at the front counter while they serviced the drive thru for about 10 minutes. Finally someone came up and asked me about my order. I told they my order number and they said they “just pulled it”. I waited 30 minutes while people walked in and out with their food. MIND YOU all I ordered was TWO 6 piece chicken nugget happy meals. NOTHING ELSE. I finally weny up to the counter again after 30 minutes and they “lost my order”. I was the LAST ONE in the lobby. They closed the lobby halfway through my wait btw. My husband called to complain and they told him they did not “lose the order”, they are just short staffed. 0/10 service.
