Literally the only McDonalds in CU I go to. The staff are so great. They are attentive and kind despite a huge workload. Shout out to the staff. You are all fantastic and show pure hospitality despite how much work you have to do.

Visited the McDonald’s at Kirby & Duncan around 5pm. The drive-thru was busy and they stated they were only accepting cards. I was not offered a receipt.

My total was $25.86. Shortly after leaving, we realized both kids’ meals were missing the chicken nuggets. Because we were already late to another commitment, I called less than five minutes later to ask for a credit or refund for the missing items.

I was told that without a receipt nothing could be done and was made to feel as though I was being dishonest, despite having the exact order total and having just been there moments earlier.

Mistakes happen — but refusing to correct them, especially when no receipt is offered, is disappointing. Customer service like this makes it hard to justify coming back.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the McDonald’s on Kirby. I placed a $15 mobile order through the app, but when I arrived at the drive-thru speaker, I was told they were not accepting mobile orders and that I’d receive a refund in 1–3 days. This was frustrating because this exact issue happened to me before — and I never received that previous refund.
When I pulled up to the second window, I asked for either my food or a cash refund. Multiple employees came to the window telling me to “pull forward” for other customers, but I had already paid ahead and deserved to have my order prioritized or properly refunded. One employee told me they were doing “nothing” to resolve it, and when I asked for the manager, that same employee refused to get them and said the manager didn’t want to talk to me. She also refused to provide her name.
After waiting around 15 minutes, I left to pick up my dad and returned. Only then—after showing my order again—did the manager give me my food without any issue. I’m confused as to why it took my dad being present for the problem to be resolved when it should have been handled the first time.
If mobile orders aren’t being accepted, the app should not allow purchases to go through, and clear signage should be posted at the drive-thru. The unprofessionalism and lack of communication at this location were unacceptable.
I hope management or corporate addresses this issue so no other customer has to go through this again.

Nice new location. Staff great. Downside is they claim the rewards System is not working. And the indoor play area temperature was a crazy 90°! Something is wrong with their HVAC system. Food was fresh and good!

It absolutely blows my mind the ice cream machine is “down” every single day and at every hour. I have tested this theory myself. Used to be after a certain hour such at 10pm that ice cream wasn’t available. FINE. But at 1pm on a Sunday? Sounds like they need some new ice cream machines that McDonald’s can more than afford to get. Or perhaps it’s just a staff issue. Fix it.

The lady at the window didn’t even provide me with eating utensils in the bag and I had to ask for it. It seems the focus is on speed and not accuracy of orders. Once I got to my office, I noticed the bag that had the syrup and butter for the hotcakes did not have any hash browns that I paid for. Whether it was a $1.99 or not , I should get what I pay for. I’m highly disappointed & would not recommend eating here or at any other McDonald’s location. I rarely eat there but out of convenience/proximity to work, I chose to order from there. If I could rate 0 I would.

Filet-of-fish did not taste good. It was smaller than the bun with a 1/2 slice of cheese. Dining room (kids playroom) was very cold. I very rarely go to McD’s; won’t be returning any time soon.

It’s convenient if you’re in this part of town. The food is pretty consistently cooked but sometimes they forget something. There are certain staff that are really good but a couple don’t know how to work the register. They have a play area for kids.
