If you are here because you want to try the other countries food, you have to be lucky, we came here and the only different thing was some little donuts, a mango sundae, and thats it, the fries from France were out of stock, so we ended up getting the usual McDonald’s food, and tried those little hazelnuts donuts which they were really good. Service was lovely, Tanya was the manager she introduced herself and talked with us, she is such a nice person, lovely personality,we saw her treating the employees very nice and being kind and we liked that, she looks like a great leader and thats what the companies need. Neismar was the venezuelan girl that brought us the food, such an amazing person, great heart, told us many good things about McDonald’s, how nice are the people that she works with, very wonderful people.

As a Local Guide, I always enjoy finding unique spots—and this was my first time visiting the McDonald’s Global Menu in Chicago, located on Randolph Street, right on the first floor of Hamburger University .
I tried several of their international menu items, and they were honestly very good. It’s a fun and different experience to taste McDonald’s favorites from around the world without leaving the city ✈️✨
Global Items I tried:
Mango McFlurry → Malaysia
McWrap Sweet Chili → Netherlands
Winter Fries → France ❄️
These are part of McDonald’s Global Menu, featuring items that are popular in their home countries, and it’s definitely worth trying if you’re looking for something beyond the standard menu.
This location is very heavy on delivery orders ♂️ , but despite that, the operation feels smooth and efficient. The restaurant is clean, well maintained, and organized, which makes sense given its proximity to Hamburger University.
Local Guide tip: If you enjoy trying new flavors or international food concepts, this McDonald’s is a great stop in downtown Chicago. A unique experience you won’t find at every location

This McDonald’s in Chicago offers a global menu, which is the main reason we visited. We love the McAloo Tikki burger, and they had it here — it was so good! They also have menu items from different countries, which makes this location unique. Overall, it was a really great experience and definitely worth checking out.

We were really excited to visit the McDonald’s headquarters location in Chicago to try international menu items. Unfortunately, many items weren’t available, likely due to the New Year and holiday season, which was disappointing.
That said, the ambiance is excellent, easily better than any regular McDonald’s. The space feels modern and special, which adds to the experience.
On the food side, we liked the Mango McFlurry and the Spicy McCrispy burger. However, the Chicken Classic Wrap was very bland and tasteless. The fries and McChicken were also below average.
Overall, it was an okay experience, but it didn’t fully meet our expectations for a flagship location, especially given the limited international options.

Sweat Less Travel
We’ve always wanted to check out this restaurant because of the different international dishes that it has, being at the world headquarters of McDonald’s. Unfortunately, if he Thanksgiving, most of them were not available. We nonetheless enjoyed a Belgian ice cream dish and got a great look inside a very special McDonald’s outlet. We were very grateful that people were working on Thanksgiving as were many others gathered inside world headquarters. We look forward to returning another time.

Very cool, unique McDonald’s. They serve different things from around the world. We tried a few things – sweet potato fries, sweet chili wrap, and Mcpops, and an arch burger (it tasted really good, unlike most big Mac’s). The staff was friendly and attentive. It was cool because they had the coffee machines within sight and they were steaming milk and pulling shots by hand. Definitely a cool experience. Food is more pricey and parking is a nightmare. One thing to keep in mind, is that I believe they rotate international foods, so you will not have all options available when you go here.

Very clean McDonald’s with amazing service, unlike almost any other in North America.
What’s great about this one is the limited rotating menu of international items. If you enjoy McDonald’s, it’s a great way to “travel” to different locations without the flight. On this particular menu we really enjoyed the mango McFlurry which is now my favourite McFlurry of any I’ve tried, beating out Oreo.

This restaurant offers an International Menu that varies often. Funny enough, I am visiting from Europe so I had tried all the Global options available. I would recommend to always have options from multiple continents to make the experience more interesting. Nevertheless I had a good dinner. Table service is available and the restaurant was clean. The food was also up to the standards of McDonald’s.
