Feel kind of like a crazy person leaving a review for a McDonald’s but I just thought people need to know. This is easily the best McDonald’s location currently operating in the south Chicagoland area. Sounds like hyperbole but I’m serious. Drive a lot for work, eat a lot of McDonald’s. Will pass multiple locations to get to this one. Your order is correct, your food is hot, and the staff are polite. Every single time. They provide what used to be expected from fast food.

Rediulous “rule”. I order a fruit and maple oatmeal they hand me the ingredients out the window. EVERY TIME! I asked him how is this any different than giving me the lettuce and tomato for my sandwich out the window and telling me to do it myself? I pay for their services to prepare my meal for me. It’s not like I’m asking them to feed it to me. The meal that I am given should be ready to eat at the time of delivery. I should not be required to do anything further.

This is our go to location based on the fact we are in this area for many events and is a quick location to eat at a reasonable price. Food is usually consistent and depending on what you get is fair value price for what you get. I do recommend using the app where you can get a lot of deals, savings and special offers that help when you have a larger size family. I like using the kiosk just because I like to let my kids order their own items without having to worry about the pressure of being at the counter and they find it fun to order themselves. The only complaint I have is that when you use the Kiosk and grab a number for your table, there is a lack of table service. They majority of the time they call our food order and we usually have to go to the counter to het our food which defeats the purpose of even getting a number and going to the kiosk. Other than that issue, I would recommend this location for food and value. It is close to highway for those passing through town and food is usually cooked correctly and orders are usually correct.

The Peotone store is amazing. I was so surprised. The fries were fresh, the burger was fresh…the shake machine actually worked. No employees standing around on their phones or ignoring people like the Rantoul and Gibson City stores. If you want a fresh, hot meal in a clean lobby then that is store to go to.

I ordered a Big Mac meal with 2 Hot ‘n Spicy sandwiches. I was dissatisfied because the Big Mac was assembled incorrectly, which I found to be frustrating. There are visual aids for every sandwich, so I don’t understand how this mistake happened. It seems like there is a lack of attention to detail and ownership of tasks among the staff. Additionally, the cashier or worker who handed me my food didn’t verify my order or give me my drink. This will be the last time I visit McDonald’s. Hopefully, the renovation will come with new staff.

Very clean, the staff was friendly, if you are traveling there is a nice outdoor patio that has some wheelchair friendly tables too. The manager was out and visible while we were there and the workers didn’t seem in a crunch like at some locations. We were there around two so it was after the lunch rush. The franchisee must love gardening. There was also a super cute display with info on monarch butterflies.

This is our first visit to this mcdonald’s! It was very modern and very clean on the inside. The service was very fast and the food was hot and tasty. The inside of the restaurant was very nice great atmosphere
