This location sets a new low for non-human, automated service. Toys for kids age +3 for happy meals? Out of stock. They advertise a S’mores McFlurry, my spouse wants one, and they are out of stock (see photo). McLies! So I self-service order on the screen then a message appears, “there’s a problem, go to the counter.” You go to the counter and stand there looking at the false S’mores McFlurry advertising and no one comes to help you for a minute. Then you have to confirm your whole order, again. Vacuous automatons treat you like a number. Our order, a Big Mac, a McDouble, and two happy meals, took 10 minutes. We were dining with three kids under 7 and were given no napkins. The hand sanitizer was empty. The sanitizing wipes dispenser was empty. The trash was overflowing, gross (see photo). They have an unwelcoming sign posted that reads, “no loitering, please. Time limit: 30 minutes while consuming food.” One plus is a play place for the kiddos. While we were eating there, the door alarm kept emitting a high-pitched, obnoxious screech every five minutes. To be solution-oriented, I went to the counter to inform the robotic staff, and they stare at you as if to suggest, what do you want us to do about it? The staff heard the screech for themselves from the counter. Good news, Carpentersville McDonalds, this mismanaged location has McRoom for improvement.

I placed my order online. got to the restaurant and waited 10 MINUTES just to get to the speaker. by the time i finally did i gave them my code. took another 5 minutes to get to the first window. i don’t blame the employees entirely for that as i know mcdonald’s can be busy on sunday mornings. they gave me my receipt and eventually i finally get to the second window. AND THEY PARK ME! I placed my order online like 30 minutes ago by the time i’m parked and im obviously frustrated because i have to get to work! they finally bring me food and you’d never guess. IT WASNT CORRECT! i just wanted the burrito meal with a bagel. it wasn’t a big order at all. i just don’t know how you can make someone wait that long just to give them a completely messed up order. thanks for making me late to work for no reason

Fantastic, family friendly place. I love taking my grandsons there, they love it too. Please stop selling timeshares. I just want to look around, take my guys to the video shooting range, buy some ammo (despite paying confiscatory Cook county taxes -insane.) and leave.

Listen, I’m not the type to complain at food places because I understand. I’ve worked in a restaurant for 10+ years. But I have a legitimate onion allergy and somehow they mess it up every other time. Just be more competent when it comes to allergies. Maybe it’s my fault for going back. But come on now. Y’all literally had the modification note on it and still put them all over. Also, why the heck didn’t I get pickles when it always comes with?? Now I don’t get to eat tonight. Trash.

So sick of this location. I pay extra money for extra sauce. And they NEVER send it. It’s clearly on purpose considering they put half the sauce. If I wasn’t charged for it, that’s one thing. But when I’m paying $3 extra for freaking dipping sauce, I expect it. This is a consistent issue here.

Had to pull into a spot because they had to make the food, awesome hot and fresh…nope not even close. Not only did they forget about us so we had to go inside and get it but they have burnt, busted up looking sandwiches. With cheese looking like someone chewed it up and spit it out. I hate this location never had a good experience

Completely rebuilt McDonald’s with new staff. Personel still learning – they are slow but very friendly. Touch panels for ordering, touch panels at drink service area. Nice PlayPlace. One of the best McDonald’s in area.
